I blame Rivers people in all of these. They are cowards. If it's to claim that they are not Igbos they will do it like a goat in heat. But when it gets to saving themselves from one man, they sit at home drinking kai kai like lost souls.

I think you are confusing issues. This is about the happenings Fubara's tenure and not Wike's past tenure.
When Wike was the governor, he could have done whatever he likes. But that is not the discourse.

If Fubara was the one stealing for Wike after he became governor isn't that an indictment on him?
And why did he allegedly asking the IRS chairman where the money goes if he was the one authorizing it?


2. The IRS chairman was stealing money for Wike without Fubara knowing.
But this isn't possible. Taxes are paid to state government accounts and not the personal account of the IRS
chairman. In fact, the chairman cannot pay his own salary without Fubara's approval.

If Fubara wasn't stealing for Wike and the IRS chairman couldn't steal for him for lack of power,
so how did the missing billions rumor start?

My guess is propaganda directed at those who don't understand how government work.
Such people don't know that an ex-governor stealing ends with his tenure.

Wike openly said that he purchased the election forms for all the candidates in Rivers state. Having done that, did you not expect him to get the returns on his investment?

Wike stated off as a local government chairman and then rose over the years on that political ladder. Have you ever wondered what would have given him such stupendous wealth? As a lawyer, did you hear that he had a successful law firm? Did you hear that he owned a factory somewhere? If we cannot question leaders who accumulate such wealth out of the blues, then we agree with them to continue impoverishing us.

It was stated the amount declared monthly as the state income, which was less than half of the real sum. Fubara was the AG, sought badly for arrest by EFCC and hidden in the government house by the then governor. Why was he hidden there? Do you think that a man like that would not know what was happening with the resources, especially as he did not authorize that removal? If Wike, as he said, fixed all the leaders, do you not expect them to report to him? Did you not read that the refusal of Fubara to permit the stealing of over 16b monthly became the issue? He asked why he should account for what he knew nothing about. Did you not read that? Was it disputed by Wike and his group?

Lastly, your response was contradictory please. It showed partly that you agreed with what the OP said.
