Atiku Abubakar's Statement About The Killings In Edo State. by naptu2(op): 4:28pm On Mar 28, 2025
Atiku Abubakar @Atiku

I am deeply saddened by reports of the tragic killing of some hunters in Edo State. My heartfelt condolences go out to their families and loved ones.

This unfortunate incident demands a thorough, transparent, and impartial investigation to uncover and ensure that those responsible are brought to book.

The protection of innocent lives must remain paramount, and I urge the authorities to act swiftly and decisively to prevent a recurrence of jungle justice.

Justice must not only be done but must be seen to be done to restore public confidence in our security institutions. -AA

I just hope Obi will not make any statement on this
This is one of those issues where it is best to keep silent
The likes of onanuga, omokri etc are waiting for obi so they can turn the whole thing against SE. They are all angry it didn't happen in SE

Meanwhile, why are they carrying guns and weapons?

Lol....

Where's Atiku Statement on the Fulani herdsmen wey dey ravage the southern part...

Or the police officer that's family was killed in yobe for doing his Job all because his from the southern part....

Y'all can protect your own buh silent when people from the South are collecting from ur kinsmen....

Jungle justice not supported the killer needs to answer for dere act buh any energy and pressure that will be used to solve this issue must also be applied to the Fulani herdsmen menace going on in the south...

I do not blame those overreacting and killing anyone with a gun, we have read and heard too many times about Fulani herdsmen killings and the Government and Atiku have been keeping quiet, now it is time for everyone to react.

Okay
I hope he will make more comment about Christians killed in the North by bandit
Re: Atiku Abubakar's Statement About The Killings In Edo State. by crossfm:
Hehehe .

Once it has to do with people from the North, you will see this one reacting.

This guy was so afraid of his fellow northerners, that he quickly deleted his tweet and kept quiet when Deborah was roasted by his people.

Killings by Fulani terrorists in the South for so long and no reaction. The killings in BENUE and other states means nothing to him,but today he suddenly found his voice.

I don't blame you,na useless Southern leaders I blame.
If na Enugu, BENUE or Ondo state,na our useless leaders go even say nothing happen.

The day Southern leaders will have sense, that's the day all these rubbish in Nigeria will stop.

Police harassment only happens in the south.

Military levelling a community in south.

State of emergency in south.

Effective border closure only in the south.

Road safety extortion in the south.

EFCC jumping into people's houses ungodly hour in the south.

Women and girls being raped in the farm by Fulani in the south.

The one wa da pain me pass,is rewarding of terrorists. The so called repented terrorists.

People who killed innocent people and our gallant soldiers, are being pampered because they are from a particular region.

A country where the federal government is willing to establish private business for some individuals from a certain region, just to keep them happy.
What is the faith of the women selling Ankara and less in Lagos. The guys selling motor parts in Kano.

What about the women selling food stuffs across the country. Let the federal government fund their business too.

If southern youths try 10% of what the northern youths do,the bloodbath will be unimaginable. Yet we have useless leaders, who think only about themselves and their family.

Nigeria must be in the mind of George Orwell when he wrote, Animal Farm. Indeed, all animals are equal, but some are more equal.

See how the Northerners are standing up for themselves (inside this Nigerian contraption), before you know it, government apparatchiks will be mobilized to fish out the perps, better yet, a squad of Nigerian soldiers are unleashed on the town folks......Or wait, the best salvo will be for similar atrocities be meshed upon innocent southerners in the North.....Tell your loved ones in the north to be very vigilant at this point of time.

You only saddened and didn't condemned moving with arms all the way from north to south South in name of hunting. That hunting is a big lie. I have met this guy's one one with this den first was in Kaduna and another in shagamu interchange.

As a Southerner, I condemn the killing of those hunters in the strongest possible terms. It's barbaric, reckless and atrocious.

What a terrible way to die. We value lives in the South, we can't degenerate to barbaric killers. Let us be guided.

Now, they'd say they're Igbos up North. Watch n see.

Cry in peace. Alahji. Nigeria is In self destruct mode.

The benue massacre I didn't hear from you.
But you and I can make a change. Only a credible government can change the narrative.

Southerners are becoming like animals, including their leaders. You kill people because they were carrying Dane guns, even though it’s clear they are hunters. What happened to the chest beating about being educated?
What now differentiates them from animals?
Allah ya isa.

Ok
Let's agree with the school of thought that want us to believe that they were hunters.

Yes they were actually hunting and terrorising people for long in their farmlands even hacking many of them to death. So saying they hunters is a near actual statements.

Like I said earlier Nigeria is not one, Nigeria has never been one and I don't think it will ever be one, why?

Because we don't share the same ideology - We may not be having this discussion if we were separate countries

What are the so called "Fulani hunters" doing with such weapons in Edo State? Do t they have bushes to hunt in the North?

While I condemn the Edo killings, atiku has no right to comment. For he commented and was forced to withdraw his statement on Deborah Samuel killing by jihadist
Re: Atiku Abubakar's Statement About The Killings In Edo State. by JAWBONE(m): 4:37pm On Mar 28, 2025
Really painful.

The loss of confidence in Nigeria's Police and Armed Forces is one of the reasons for tragic events like this.

Now everybody is a suspect because the fūcking police fails to do their job.

People have been protesting from Ondo to Enugu states the past few weeks over killings and kidnappings, not one single arrest.

Tinubu is busy flexing muscles in Rivers State where there is no problem

Now people are taking law into their own hands.

Mad people.

What did they say when Deborah was killed?

I don't support violence in whatever form, but why is it that they mostly speak when they are directly or indirectly affected?

Those guys were hunters, can you see the weapons they are using? those barbarians should have verified or call the cops instead of taking laws into their hands.
