smartlad:Come on be quiet. You frustrated human that cannot get help for himself from gambling life away. What do you know? If they have right to ransack other people's lands and farms, kill innocent people, and if other Nigerians can't travel with guns why should they? Why are they special? They deserve what they got period. |

DrChukki:Same people have been kidnapping and killing southerners in their land without any outcry from northerners few days ago they even killed two sons of a police man from southern nigeria serving in yobe because he was doing his job very well. |

DaddyCoool:No, they share similar ideology they might have slight differences when it comes to picking leaders but there are certain things you will never see and average American support... Let's be sincere with ourselves, if Tinubu or Akpabio was to contest for the current positions they are holding in America do you think they will win with everything we know about them? |

Dear Southern Nigerians and Middle Beltans, it is time for us to unite and tend against this monster which feeds fat on our disunity and then threatening to consume us all. Let us unite before it is too late. Is not so glaring yet? If those killed where from Edo and the killers were from the North, will this people say a word? It is getting late ooooooio |

Thank God it didn't happen in the southeast, because if it was in the southeast the whole region would had been floored by military troops. Meanwhile, what happened there is very unfortunate. |

Kwankwaso would have been national hero id he had shown same concern extended to Edo killings. Many have been killed in Benue, Enugu and Ondo states by Fulani herdsmen. And no statement coming from him. Neither from Atiku nor his northern aristocratic gladiators. This is hypocrisy. The lives of Nigerians are as precious as those Fulani men killed in Edo. They deserve concern and empathy too. Until our leaders eschew ethnic bigotry in the conduct of public affairs, Nigeria can never move forward. |

This is an unfortunate situation at a time like this in the history of our dear nation one must be cautious going about with weapons when people believes that whatever happens they can't get justice there is incidents of killings, rapings, kidnappings for ransoms running into millions almost daily in every community. |

Nigeria is such a dangerous, hideous space. You'll never ever hear these fulani sympathizers say pim about the constant killings of farmers all over Nigeria, especially in the South. Violence can never ever be the answer. But it seems people are just tired of government inaction in the face of constant aggression/provocation and have decided to take their own protection in their own hands. |

They have found their voices since it's their brothers that were killed. Since Fulani killers have been killing and maiming people they looked the other way. |

ValarDoharis:I agree with you but this is Nigeria where leaders should understand they must manage Nigeriana adults ( with many being illiterate, restive and unemployed) very well or face the consequences such as this sad development. Of courses those guns are not assault rifles like AK47. Me and you know that. Yet, not so for millions of grassroot Nigerians whose human development index still largely limits their thinking to how they will find daily food to eat. They do not have the time nor the interest to learn about guns let alone be able to differentiate between a dane gun and an AK47. To them, a gun, of whatever variety, is a weapon of death. Of course this development is tragic. Yet if previous government had moved decisively to enforce a position of law applicable to every Nigerian , I believe this present government must now enact ASAP , which makes it clear it is illegal for any Nigerian to appear in public with any weapon then these men may still be alive today. Most failing in Nigeria today relates to leaders knowing the right thing to do but refusing to implement such because of personal vested interest. Let no one be in any doubt. Northern leaders are 100% responsible for these death with their support for backward practices of open grazing and then the routine arming of illiterates, who have never had psychological evaluation, to carry AK47 for "protection". If Nigerians do not understand that the North has to be stood up to and tamed immediately , for peace, security and economic progress to reign, then we are 100% heading toward becoming Somalia after Rwanda-style ethnic cleaning strife has led to the butchering of millions.

Olanki:That still doesn't justify their killing why not hand them over to the police for proper investigation? In sane countries they rather let a criminal go than executing any innocent person. |

ManOfSon:Fact. Only an animal would get more upset over the killing of Hausa/Fulani people in Edo than the killing of Ondo State people by the same Hausa/Fulani people. Both instances should naturally get us all riled up, but no, these deaf and d u m b "national leaders" only release letterhead memos when their ethnic groups are at the receiving end or when their political ambitions or treasury are threatened. There's is also another set of barbaric animals who don't even care about their own people let alone the "Nigerian" agenda. An example is the Ondo state SSA who denied the killing of his own people because he wants to please his master and saviour in Aso rock who is also fond of asking s t u p i d questions like "where are the cows?" |
