Do your research. You’ve picked out the school and course; so finish it by looking up the requirements for bsc admissions applications.

To prove your English proficiency, get an English Proficiency Letter from your polytechnic which states your studies were done fully in English.

What you booked for was wrong.
Booking through the study route is now done on the consulars portal.

well, after I booked my appointment online the mail I got stated I booked for a work visa but it wasn't what I booked, it was student visa. I was disturbed at a point but I later got to read on the website that the student visa would be treated as a work visa.
As long as u selected a student visa during ur application process, u will be fine. Don't worry about it.

Have a fair idea what your sponsor earns, what they do for work and where they work and you should be fine.

Your documents is what will give the university an assurance to admit you.
Provide all the requirements necessary for admissions applications and you stand a chance.
No one can give you 💯 percent assurance.

When was the deadline you were given and when did you submit?
How long did it take to get AM after you submitted the additional documents?
