It's still interesting to read even though Fubara penned it. If you read between the lines of this one and Wike version of events, you can build your own picture of what is happening.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading that piece. While there are exaggerations or inaccuracies, there are a lot of chronological truths.

The Ijaw angu is a strong and compelling one that I believe and this is because of the timing of that comment and subsequent crisis that ensued.

Overall, it would be interesting to see how both sides approach post-SOE, which I don’t foresee lasting the duration of 6 months.

Bro

You can't imagine how paranoid you'll be when there. When I went to Naija one time during those Buhari days when news of herdsmen kidnaping were all over, I actually contemplated flying from Lagos to Ibadan, later thought of trains before I later drove and was worried all through for a journey of 1hr20mins

Whenever I am traveling I buy my liquors that I will drink from Yankee and ship them along. The day it finish is the day I stop drinking alcohol till I get back

To drink bottled water or coke I start thinking was this made in izzou bathroom

And staying out after dark, I try not to go out after dark

I dont drive in Naija I just get a driver cos the madness I can't deal with anymore. Going to the Island thw roads are bad and flooded, that you start pitying the vehicle after it hits one one deep pothole after the other.

One guy in his 40s who left naija as a teen came back to feel Naija vibes and was hanging out he wore camouflage shorts before long soldiers caught him, have him lying down beside gutter and cocking gun at his head. Just 1 second from death because of wearing camouflage shorts

He got on next flight to Houston
😂 😂 😂

I enjoyed the story very funny.

When are you visiting again? 😂

This time under Tinubu. 😂

See? I've always insisted, your jaundiced takes on the Natasha issue regardless, you know the truth.

You know how damaging sexual harrassment allegations are.

Diddy moved in high circles regardless for decades even with the 2Pac murder accusation, but as soon as he was accused of sexual molestations, the world turned on him.

Everything pointed to Natasha's accusations being false, but you'd insist a man goes down for it because you don't like the man in question.

What's that saying Oasis uses again?
There's something you need to know.

The fight against Akpabio is not because people think he is guilty. The reality no body gives a fk if he rapes her in the chambers. But once there's an accusation that can hurt Akpabio in anyway it would be taken seriously.

Akpabio is a very much hated politician because of his corruption, loosed tongue and constant twerking for Tinubu.

He fell into the trap when he refused to give the lady a fair hearing. This fair hearing is the excuse people use against him not even that he committed the offence.

People are willing to go the mile with Natasha just to see Akpabio feel some pain even if it's temporal.

It's like the fight between Wike and Fubara.

I don't care if Fubara suffers. He should suffer because he was part of Wike's gang of robbers that stole the people's election mandate in Rivers.

However we support him because anything that will hurt Wike is good. The excuse being that Wike is acting like a godfather to suppress a sitting governor.

The best scenario for me is if all the above mentioned burn for all I care. The wicked must not go unpunished.

Where are my going with this? Many people believe Nigeria will be sweet when they have money ,true to that ,but with all that money comes lots of targets on your back imagine you driving luxury car but you are using security,I have seen it alot something that's not happen in develop countries.

Bottom line is no matter how Nigeria sweet with money ,there's many things that it can't guarantee you in develop country.

Japa for your safety and never look back, japa for your future kids and never look back.
This Teejay guy stuff is just a case of an accident na.

It's a case of two strong headed people fighting for right of way. The lady who was driving a car and Teejay on bike both tried to merge unto Ozumba Mbadiwe way on Victoria Island and it seems none of them wanted to yield for each other so the lady's car knocked Teejay off his bike.

It's more of typical Nigerians using agidi for each other which led to the demise of one party and manslaughter case on the other party's head.....

I've seen this thing almost happen severally ; I really don't know why Nigerians hate to allow other motorists go past them.

In February, I was traveling and ordered Uber to take me to the airport. While the uber was driving I was on a call and out of the blues I just heard a big bang! Apparently he sped to a road intersection claiming he owns the right of way and that the other motorist trying to enter the main road from the intersection ought to slow down for him and wait for him to go first. He expects the other motorist to slow down but he wasn't willing to do same. So the other motorist ended up hitting the left rear left side door of the uber I was in leaving a mess behind.

Now the guy went to hold the other motorist who didn't even deny his culpability in the accident and was willing to take him to his mechanic to have the damage fixed. So my Uber guy begged me to cancel the trip and order another ride since he has to follow the other guy and go fix his vehicle.

I had no choice but to carry my luggage and ordered for another Uber right there on the road. While I was waiting for the next ride, I was just thinking of how a little patience could've have averted the accident and save everybody's time.

The funny thing is when I drive and I wait to allow someone trying to merge into the main road at an Intersection pass, the vehicle behind me will be honking as if to tell me I'm a fool for delaying him by allowing the other motorist merge into the road 🤦‍♂️

Ths is the reason why jungle justice cannot end in Nigeria. That's because the country's justice is selective.

I feel sad seeing people who are possibly innocents dying like fowls. Human beings o.

Our justice system needs to wake up.

Herdsmen have been disturbing that community but neither state nor federal government did anything. Now that the people out of suspicion have taken a brutal action themselves, the government have woken up

This is bad governance. Very bad.
These are the issues.

On this Teejay matter, I think the accused Biola Adam lady is a victim of her attitude/character/pride......If the lady had behaved in a more relatable way, she would not have a name being splashed all over the internet as a "murderer".

I read different versions/accounts of the incident and all of them were pointing out to the fact that immediately after the incident she stayed in her car making calls for close to 30 minutes instead of acting all empathetic and joining the people to try and rush the guy to the hospital.

I believe she was trying to call the high and mighty people she knows to inform them of the fix she currently found herself. She probably thought the guy was dead and wanted to negotiate a soft landing for herself by placing calls to as many people as she can before the case turns police case. That was a very big mistake on her part because the people judged that as pride and lack of human kindness to even first attend to the guy she knocked off his bike.

The fact that her calls worked was evideng when she was detained by the police for just one day and was released on bail thereafter. Unfortunately for her, that attitude she displayed irked the family of the victim and gbey are going at her with everything they have.

A similar incident happened in my friend's family earlier this month. His elder brother's wife died In a mysterious incident. They just got a call from the police that the woman was involved in an accident and was dead. This was a woman who took her son to school in the morning before going t the market in public bus to get foodstuff for the house.

The story the police have was that a mini bus driver "korope" saw her by the side of the road in the pool of her blood and took her to two different hospitals where she was rejected before she died. When my friend called me from the police station and told me this, I told him the story made no sense because only few people will randomly see a woman in the pool.of her blodd by the road side and take her to the hospital and then go to police station to report.

After visiting the scene where the driver claimed he saw her, the story got more and more unbelievable. There was a deep cut on the woman's head and it just made everyone confused. Was she attacked by one chance operator? Was she hit by hit and run?, etc. The whole thing no just add up but they had to collect the corpse and bury same day.

The following week the deceased woman's father called a top police man in Abuja and complained how his daughter's murder was handled shabishly by the police. So the oga police called commissioner who called area commander who called DPO and the case was reopened.

Long and short, it was the korope guy that actually killed the woman. He carried her a fare paying passenger, he was driving on high speed which made her fall off from the Seat beside the door. He took her to two hospitals where she was rejected before she died.

The family was furious because he lied to them and made them go through trauma trying to figure out what actually happened to their daughter. However, because he tried to save her by taking her to the hospital they decided not to push any case against him and just accepted the whole thing as the will of God despite how painful it was. The fact that the policemen connived with him to lie initially was painful but they asked the police bit to push case against him because hus attitude taking her to the hospital shows he was human afterall.

I'm sure if that woman had acted that way, this Teejay's family members would let her off the hook.

It's said they (she and her friend) had a driver in another car behind them...so let's even say she's a woman and can't do certain things well, what stopped her from having her driver manage the situation. I even heard one of her complaints was she didn't want her car soaked in blood.

Akpabio has been accused of sexual harassment and abuse by three different high-profile Nigerians, including a former VP of the country. The man hasn't also helped himself by his unguarded and uncouth behavior as house leader.

Akpabio might be innocent, he also might not. Las las it's two of them alone that know the truth of things...and I don't even think a court process or senate committee would successfully establish the truth of things in this matter. It's a difficult thing to prove, and also disprove, hence it'd eventually favor the defendant.

I don't think Natasha should have pursued a matter so tenuous, but if her truth is whatever she's accusing Akpabio of, I understand why she'd want justice, however slim her chances might be.

Just yesterday we barely escaped a head-to-head collision along Okene-Lokoja Expressway it took a cautionary tale from the passenger in our that averted it, both drivers didn't want to slow down. I don't know why we are always in haste and claim right of way something that can lead to fatal consequences.

Anyone in an okada accident will always be paranoid because they can switch it on you. The okada rider even if he was drunk high and driving one way is not a fault. There is a mob of people who want you to bear responsibility for another person's misbehavior because you are in an expensive ride.

And if you are not careful, during the gragra somone in the crowd will loot your car.

You know the matter!

For all we know, the lady might have assumed she killed a man already and chose to stay in the car to call her people out of fear that she may be lynched if she stepped down.

Naija na one kind place where anything unpredictable can happen. The fact that the people didn't see her joining them to rush him to the hospital, her fate is sealed in the court of public opinion.

Let's hope the police will do an indpendent investigation and prosecute her if they find her to be on the wrong side of the law

But hers was different. They were clearly begging her to take the guy to the hospital. Someone you hit oh.

No mob will give you the patience to make a call for 30 minutes, while you casually make a call with your doors locked. Dem go burn you with your motor

There's no justification for what she did, and it clearly shows she is a wicked soul; Someone who can kill innocently, and show up like nothing happened.[/color]
