Wife of the immediate past Head of Service Rivers State, has is a desperate call for help, narrated how her husband was cajoled, blackmailed and forced to sign a document that was to implicate Gov. Fubara. She said her husband who was terrified by the development and the desperation of those behind the action, had insisted on rather resigning than carry out such evil act.

She narrated how he was asked to come to Abuja and after being unable to reach him, she was surprised to see her husband on TV reading a statement given to him.

She had tried severally to contact her husband but he has been incommunicado and she is worried of his safety.

This action clearly shows the desperation of the enemies of Rivers State and the great lengths they can go to actualise their agenda.

It is also imperative we call all security agencies most especially the Inspector General of Police to harken to this SOS call by Mrs Florence Nwaeke on the whereabout of her husband and ensure that everybody that is part of the grand orchestration to kidnap and blackmail Mr George Nwaeke all for political gains should be brought to book.

IGNORE NWAEKE'S FALSE CLAIMS - Governor Fubara

My attention has been drawn to a press briefing by the former Head of Service, Dr. George Nwaeke aired on Channels Television on Friday the 28th of March 2025.

Ordinarily, I would not have responded to his claims, but to correct the erroneous impression such allegations may create in the minds of the people, and the disaffection it is bound to cause in the state and the country.

First, on the claim that he was aware of my discussions and plans to support Bala Mohammed's alleged 2027 presidential bid, it is laughable that Dr. Nwaeke would be part of any high level political meeting as Head of Service, much more sitting in my alleged night meetings with Bala Mohammed and militants like he claimed. Howbeit, none of such meetings ever held.

The truth is that the whole world knew when the Bauchi State Governor, as Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party Governors Forum visited the State, and there was nothing secret about the visits.

It is also ludicrous for Dr. Nwaeke to claim that he was aware of my meetings to encourage attacks on oil pipelines and other National assets in the State, as there was no time I held any meeting with militants or any criminal group to destabilise the State. It is on record that I have been at the forefront preaching peace in the State even in the face of obvious provocations.

The truth is that Dr. Nwaeke has been compromised, and whatever he is saying is only aimed at fulfilling his promise to those who may have paid or coerced him to lie against me.

I call on all well meaning Nigerians and the good people of Rivers State to disregard everything said by Dr. Nwaeke as they are mere desperate attempts to discredit me and my administration, and undermine the peace process by Mr. President.

I don't think things are falling into line for wike despite the soe. If not, why is he succumbing to this level of desperation?

Wike go use him boys do this job. E get people wey I dey suspect say their hand dey inside but make I keep quite for now but in all anybody that made that man read that rubbish did a very poor job. I've read the screenshot of Dr. Nweke's chats with Edison and then you'll understand that it's either the man was given an amount of money he has not seen in his lifetime (bought) or he was threatened. Wike is praying lots of dirty politics and he should watch his back too because the person that will undo him will come from his own camp not even those opposing him. As for Tinubu, he should be smart enough in matters involving Wike.

Id go for the latter. It's only very desperate men who are walking on a thin rope that'd tow the line of desperation. Men who are as well assured as they're secured would care less. I have a hunch wike believes fubaras suspension might be lifted soon or something isn't just working out for him yet as he would have wanted.

George Nweke is clearing his conscience. Nothing he said is news. Fubara conspired with the wanted felon Edison Ehie to bomb the Assembly building. There are videos all over the internet of Fubara hosting and mingling with militants. Is it also news that he was running the state without a budget? So what is that thing that Nweke said that is new? Fubara should be arrested now. Let the prosecution begin. Enough is enough.

You will understand politics soon. Someone was flown to a place where another presides but you are talking about sidelining. Use common sense. Is it someone from Lagos that understands the politics than the indigene? You want them to grope in the dark? Only he can navigate that ship because it is his domain. You guys can continue to fantasize though. Reality is a different thing.

We're seeing a precedent being laid before our very eyes.

This is a precedent that if gone unchallenged and unhindered, will set a road map for another to explore.

My take? Let it happen. I always believed it will take nothing less than a BLOODY revolution to set this country right. We've been hit left, right and center, even into the hems of our pocket and are still docile. It means things are still okay for us, even as dire.
