There's no denying that Swerve is talented, he would have been brought back with the rest of HitRow during the changing of the guard when vince left,if he wasn't signed to AEW.
My gripes is him and the rest of the indy dumbos like Hangman thinking they're too good to take advice.
Wrestling in the indies for years is different from wrestling in WWE, which is and still is the global leader no matter how many millions Richie Rich Khan spends.
Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe, Adam Cole were all bigger signings than him when they were brought down to NXT to be retrained and coached by seasoned vets.
So who the Bleep is swerve?
If he was coached properly, he wouldn't have to hit a move where his opponent casually sits up and waits for the stomp.

Yes I believe he's more regrettable, because in WWE's case they wanted nothing to do with him anymore. I'm sure if Swerve went there, they'd take him with open arms(they took Cody and even bothered hiring Cargill). And the reason why is because he was a cancer. No one is too good to take advice, but if you're talking trash to him about entertaining 500 people when he's proved he can entertain stadiums, I think that gives him a bragging right. And you guys only criticize AEW when it's convenient; WWE popularized hardcore matches. They had buried alive and inferno matches. Few years back Brock brought a bull dozer to the ring (it did nothing for the match), I'm sure you guys praised it.

You want to talk hardcore matches and don't mention ECW or Japan death matches then you you don't know what you're saying.
Hardcore matches were prominent in WWE in late 90s and early 2000s when there wasn't enough awareness about CTE and it's effects.

Buried alive matches are gimmicked as hell that no one gets hurt.
The last proper inferno match on WWE was 2006.
The kane vs Bray one in 2013 was PG cookie cutter.
Whereas Cody burnt his back doing one in 2021 on AEW.

Even RVD that is an ECW original was criticising the spike spots in AEW citing it as unsafe.
Most of the guys from THAT ECW era ended up with CTE that led to suicides, pill addiction and other health issues.

I've critqued WWE severally from their booking of the womens division to their theme music, TKO Endeavour aggressive money grabbing antics.
Or did you miss when I called the CM Punk Vs Seth Cage match a finisher fest?
You also missed when I said they'd have brought Swerve back if he wasn't signed to AEW.

What stadiums did Swerve entertain that gives him a bragging right?
His most famous match prior to WWE was in Lucha Underground vs AR Fox in extreme rules match where his back was bleeding from being thrown on real glass. Cry me a River .

I was watching Swerve (Killshot) in lucha underground and young bucks (generation me) on TNA way way back.

Since WWE moved to PG era post 2008, their extreme rules matches have been tame to the point they were called out for being too safe.
Everyone mentions the Fiend Rollins hell in a cell match that ended in DQ.

Meanwhile in just 6 years of AEW we've seen :
Jack perry being set ablaze by flamethrower.
Moxley doing the deathjitsu bleeding and spike fetish matches.
Hangman drinking Swerves blood.
Young bucks thumptack superkick to an upside down hanging Darby Allin.
Nick gage using a pizza cutter to slice jericho.
Hangman whacking a chair to Swerves head.
Matt Hardy head landing on concrete then proceeding to finish the match.
Mariah May vs Toni storm hardcore extravaganza.

Do WWE wrestlers give chairshots to head like swerve and hangman?

So if you're going to criticize AEW for doing hardcore matches because they dangerous and not because they are dumb, I say let them be. It's their bodies not yours. No one in WWE gets all these injuries by doing something soft.

I remember War Games match featuring Bloodline, and all we could remember the match for being hardcore with were torn silk shirts.😂
