E no dey work like this..
If you want Thunder to fire APC

Find that leave jazz people dey use to attract rain.

Then mix it with Sulphur to charge the clouds around APC head Quater.

There is 50% chance that the charges will attract opposite charges and spark. Then Thunder will fire the APC headquarters.

Oga this is not really the issue. There is no where in the world that the government doesn't apply some form of subsidy or the other. The truth is this. This administration is highly wicked and insensitive. Even if there is a consensus to remove subsidy, can't it be done in phases so that the impact on the economy will not be felt? Also where is the probe of the previous subsidy regimes? Where is the probe of NNPC who was sole importer of fuel during the last regime? This guy Tinubu just gave these subsidy thieves a free pass and is transferring the suffering on the masses. Go to the roads and see how people are suffering. You will not be saying this rubbish here.

There was never good old days...... It is what it is
You got it.

People keep referring to some years back, as if Nigerians were leaving comfortable or not complaining then.....
Even back in the mid and late 80's . I remember, my grandma always do giveaway to the poor . Especially around Lagos Island, Ebute meta , oshodi , Surulere. Some families couldn't even afford 3 meals a day .

But some people keep saying good old days ....how many people can afford to buy a bag of rice in early 90's to late 90's ? Back in the 80's . Some families only eat rice, chickens during festive season .....

Apc destroyed nigeria..but their excuse is if dey didn't destroy nigeria we would be broke..yet with their destruction u would expect us to be debt free...but no we are more indebted to different countries and international agencies. Ppd looted but dey got massive debt relieve..this party is selling the resources of generation yet unborn...the life of a newborn Nigerian is 50 times harder than their grand parents..the only way out is to train to be globally useful..or become fraudulent.

Exactly.

I remember back in the 1980's people were grumbling about how SAP was dealing with us, and before that how we were queueing for food, and so on. Some people thought that the 1970's was a good time...lol. Bread was 50 Kobo. My father bought table fan for N16 in 1981, and spent N50 building a bed for my younger bro in 1983...and that was a lot of money.

Infact back in 1988, one university lecturer was bringing mangoes from a tree in his house for students....to eat.

Rice was probably less than N500 in 1990, yet to survive, my parents both did side hustles. At one point my popsy was commuting between 2 jobs every week. For 2 years self.

I was admitted to hospital for treatment in 1991, my papa spent N100 in bills . He would joke about how I had drained his bank account(I still feel bad about that N100 today, lol. ).

Even rice, that people are shouting about now. Rice in the 1960's was a luxury food. You got to eat it once a week, if you were lucky. Maybe a few times a week if you were super rich.

There were no good old days, unless your parents were very wealthy or upper middle class. MIddle class suffered well well too.

The 10 billion dollars saved by Tinubu where is it? Did it reduce the price of electricity, hospital bill, food items, import duties, etc. Zombies are coursed
WHAT 10 BILLION DOLLARS WAS SAVED?

THERE WAS NO 10 BILLION DOLLARS WAITING FOR TINUBU WHEN HE GOT INTO OFFICE.

TO PAY THE SUBSIDIES HE WOULD HAVE HAD TO BORROW THE 10 BILLION DOLLARS, JUST LIKE BUHARI DID THE YEAR BEFORE HIM!

SO ALL THAT HAPPENED IS WE STOPPED BORROWING 10 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR TO PAY FUEL SUBSIDIES.

INSTEAD, WE ARE RAMPING UP LOCAL PRODUCTION AND REFINING TO EVENTUALLY BRING COSTS DOWN THE NATURAL WAY, NOT BY SUBSIDIES!!

IMAGINE A COUNTRY WITH A 30 BILLION DOLLAR ANNUAL BUDGET BORROWING 10 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR TO PAY FUEL SUBSIDIES.

IT’S AN UNSUSTAINABLE MODEL THAT WOULD HAVE DESTROYED THE ECONOMY AND LED TO MONSTROUS LEVELS OF NATIONAL DEBT!

A VENEZUELA SITUATION THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN 10 TIMES WORSE THAN WHAT WE ARE CURRENTLY GOING THROUGH!

SO TINUBU IS DOING WHAT HAS TO BE DONE.

IT IS NOT BECAUSE HE IS A WICKED MAN WHO LOVES TO SEE NIGERIANS SUFFER!

All over the world, government subsidizes essential services to the people but in Nigeria the reverse is the case and you support this clueless government. Food, electricity, shelter, clothing and transportation which are basic things in other part of the world become luxury in Nigeria. You this supporters of evil, aye gbogbo yin ti baje

Of course not! Why should it?

We need to borrow for DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS, not to pay fuel subsidies.

Thanks for this information. Between 2016 to 2018 I was involved in a pipeline project between Calabar and Creek Town. So, my residence was in Calabar, and I frequently made trips between Uyo and Calabar. The road was still good at that time, and I must say one of the safest roads in Nigeria. You can pass the road at any time without any issues.
