Those dealing with Fubara are way more smarter than him. They are wining him in every way morally, politically, legally. Its only on social media he appears to be winning and even at that the win margin on social media is like 6-4. Some will shout Rivers people are behind him but the reality on ground suggests otherwise. Not sure Rivers people are really bothered. The time there was a semblance of Rivers people supporting him was before his suspension, when he could mobilise people with money. The motivation then was money. Why would anyone want to go and protest on behalf of Fubara now? He isn't so popular among the people.

People should not be too over-ambitious to want to demolish party structures that bring them in and replacing them wholly with their own. The consequences is what we see with Ambode in Lagos and Fubara in Rivers. This is not an issue with godfathers as some would claim. If you will not respect party structures that is the machinery through which you benefited from, don't contest any position under the party. Grown your own party from scratch and be in charge of the structures. Thats common sense.

He acknowledged Tinubu's efforts to help him achieve his dream of becoming president and also thanked everyone who helped built the political platform through which he won presidential elections two times after falling three times before then. I really learned something from Buhari today. He's such an humble man and a million times better than the oversabi self-acclaimed perfectionist of Ota.
