24 million pounds that time is very big money, but that doesn't mean celebrities were not earning up to that. The man was a big musician at that time, paying him that amount for a three year contract is very big but not impossible. You should note that the reason of paying him may not really be for profit making but to buy his soul and stop the spread of the gospel.
I strongly believe that even some secular musicians do enter unholy contracts that make dem blow at the expense of living or doing things that are unGodly eg men wearing women wears, smoking excessively women dressing like prostitutes, leaking sex tapes, worshipping Satan, homosexual lifestyle and supporting such lifestyles,,, all these are done openly. Children and people who see them as role models are being influenced by such and may end up imitating them.

I would have agreed with you there...but the thing is at one point in the early 1990's, Panam was singing the theme tunes for some 'secular' soap operas on NTA...soaps like Supple blues and Change (yes the fact I can recall that means that I am in my nineties...lol).

Even some of his popular christian music songs have some secular influences (eg I've made up my mind has some influences from South African popular music by way of Paul Simon's graceland album...listen to You can call me al, and then if you have heard some of PPP's numbers from the early 90'\s they sound very fammiliar).
