Do we need to inject some particles of "maintenance" into our DNA? Is there anything others are doing that are part of their DNA that makes them better at maintaining structures?

We always run away from the truths.. The problem with maintenance in this country, lies with the corrupt civil service. If you flood ill equipped friends and relatives in sensitive ministries like that of works or power, they will fumble at their jobs.

When you are building a project, you must already have planned for how it will be maintained. You either hand over the contract to a private company, or you allow the agency in the ministry in focus, to do the job.
Whichever you go, you must have civil servants who are trained to run periodic checks at when deu, to make sure that those structures are maintained.

But when you employ a graduate of koranic studies at Nigerias Aerospace Agency, how do you expect him or her to help maintain stuffs there? By observing iftah abi wetin at the office?
