I don't think there is any kind of examination that can stop this. He might have sudden heart issues while in the ring. I have seen a woman who went to a doctor with her legs for just routine medical checkup and while waiting for her driver to come take her home she slumped and died right there in the hospital. Some health issues just develop and bammm they have taken someone's life suddenly without warning.

Nothing develops suddenly. It might have been an underlying illness the doctor didn't catch. A healthy person doesn't just slump and die like that. There are so many illnesses that our Nigerian hospitals don't diagnose.

His opponent will never forget this event! He may even quit the spot. It's traumatizing!

Death rate is very very low. Cos lots of precautions are put in place to protect fighters.
How in the name of god, will a referee fail to notice a slump? A fighter takes a bad fall, with no significant punch from his opponent and all the referee could think of, was counting?
Prompt medical attention can be the difference btw life and death. That march had no doctor on duty.

Why I said the game is too risky for human entertainment.

You mentioned watching boxing since 4 years old, and I am sure with your years of following, you should have counts of when the ref thought it was a norm and became a disaster.

The sport remains unhealthy irrespective of your stance. You have seen people lose it all in minutes, and seeing it as entertainment is absurd. Those freaking moments you cheer for could lead to paralysis or death.

Monday the ref could have known it’s going death ways. He just thought it was a normal knockout.

Are you saying you seeing for the first time when a boxer received a heavy blow and the ref was counting? The ref is not a God, he def thought it was the normal knockout.

Looks like death from dehydration. There was a high chance of saving him if trained medical professionals were present. R.I.P. to him and we may see in the afterlife.
