I have not done the job of a biographer before, but I am sure doing such job for anyone who is living doesnt include what the biographer may be expecting , he should simply just write down what he is observing rather than using his predictive instincts to make conclusions.

Elon has been fighting depression for years.

History have it that men that vanguard global change concerning mankind, usually walk tru a very narrow and stressful path.

He also mentioned that he currently has 17 jobs (DOGE inclusive) and that he is over-stretched.

He would resign from Trump's role in May, and hopefully be able to concentrate on Tesla declining issues and save it.
