Controversial media personality Daddy Freeze, has expressed renewed hope in Nigeria under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He stated that the President’s policies have given citizens a sense of optimism.

He urged Nigerians to remain patient, stressing that the country’s deep-rooted challenges will take time to overcome.

In an interview with Nigeria Info FM, Lagos, Daddy Freeze stated:

“With President Bola Tinubu, I don’t think Nigeria is in trouble. I was scared initially but I’m seeing the work he is doing in the power sector.”

“Nigeria is a big overloaded tipper with a bad engine. So, anybody or mechanic you bring will struggle. The leadership is that mechanic.”

“Nigeria has so many problems. Sometimes, us expecting a particular government to be able to just come and fix it, is a bit ambitious.”

“I was worried initially but with the way this regime has handled things up until now, I am leaning towards the fact that we finally have hope in this country.”

A black man, Mark Dean, co-invented the IBM Personal Computer in 1981, without which you would be using a TYPEWRITER today.

A black man, Lewis Latimer, invented the FILAMENT that made Thomas Edison’s Light Bulb last for YEARS, instead of 2 hours.

Without Latimer, you would be using candles.

Without the black man, the entire world would be living in caves.

Tinubu can't solve Nigeria's problem in less than 2 years. The economy could have been worst than it is now if not for Tinubu.

Nigeria’s long term economic outlook is very bright. International organizations are all very optimistic about Nigeria’s future because of all the economic reforms President Tinubu is working on.

You don’t have to like Tinubu to see some of these things. For the past 30 years or so, all presidents have had to worry about fuel subsidy, electricity subsidy, forex subsidy, state governments hijack of local government funds etc. In less than two years, he tackled all these issues instead of sidestepping them like all others have done. Going forward, no president after him will have to worry about any of these issues.

Things may be difficult but some of these things Judy have to be done in the overall long term interest of the country.
