Ahmed musa was issuing subtle threats on twitter the other day, someone that didn’t say anything when Deborah was murdered for a very stupid reason? Tf you mean you killed a full grown adult human being because of “blasphemy”? Wtf? That bastard amoto supported it then. Infact no northern governor condemned the act, now they suddenly want justice for jungle justice?

In 2006 when at least 16 people were killed by Jihadists in Borno Maiduguri over mere cartoon of prophet Mohammed drawn in far away Denmark, nobody saw the governor of Maiduguri jumping into plane to go to each victim's state to pay condolence visit.

Southern politicians powered by the myopic and tunnel vision of an average Southern voter. I apologize to anyone who may find this insulting because it is not, neither is it intended to.

Southern voters are satisfied with short term gratification while the North have full control of the playbook and this is usually evident during the election cycle. Politicians are always going to have their way but we don't need a politician to tell us to be strong when we hold a position that we feel strongly about. Ultimately the voters voted the politicians who continuously defer to the North.

The North understand that the South can never be united so they don't even need to work extra hard to keep control. Go on front page and read some of the ridiculous comments that pitch the South against each other! This is too easy for the North!

What’s wrong with southern politicians? I don’t understand the hold northerners have on southern politicians because the way these our people behave whenever there’s a matter involving northerners is becoming worrisome. They’d chose the violent and useless Hausa/fulani over their own people that elected them. Wtf?

How many times have northern governors come down to the south to sympathize with families of people killed by Fulani herdsmen and terrorists?

Such person is playing to the gallery and only concerned about the methods through which the life is taken, not necessarily concerned that life was taken over a flimsy allegation.

Do u know that the two guys who supervised the lynching of Deborah as identified in the video were defended by 34 Muslim lawyers led by a professor of law Mansur Ibrahim? Imagine 34 northern Muslim lawyers coming all out to defend individuals who snuffed the life out of their fellow citizen in broad daylight on a mere allegation of "blasphemy" 🤦‍♂️

Even a serving police officer who should be seen as enforcing the law filmed himself endorsing the lynching.

Two students identified from the video were arrested in connection with the lynching.However, none have been prosecuted. One Muslim perpetrator has filmed himself proclaiming that he did it in graphical terms. A Nigerian police officer filmed himself endorsing the Islamist lynching and called any one who questioned the act a "Kafir".

The two Muslim suspects were defended by a team of 34 lawyers led by Prof. Mansur Ibrahim. They were charged with "Criminal conspiracy and incitement of public disturbance", a charge that carries a maximum sentence of 2 years. The court acquitted the suspects citing the non-showing of prosecution lawyers. Human rights lawyer Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa has described the charges pressed by the police as "an insult to Nigerians and to the parents of the deceased". He also criticized Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto, saying that the governor as a former lawyer knew the law but wanted to override the life of a citizen entrusted to his care with his political ambition. He called on the governor to "rather resign now than go down in history as the Governor under whose watch a citizen was murdered and he could not enforce the laws of the land but rather aided and abetted its cover up".

Nothing is wrong with what the Governor did to forestall reprisal attacks. Edo indigenes/residents must not feel the brunt of their Uromi people's ignorance and the Governor has a duty to protect them and initiate the peace move. Development thrives where there is peace and the Governor understands this.
