That story has some holes, I do not think every part is true. I couldn't finish watching it because I was not sure if he was really understanding what he was saying or he could remember all. That they keep international passports at Central Banks at each country just off me.

Someone lived in Canada for 48 yrs but can't boast of a house anywhere. If he bought a house in Canada 30 yrs ago, it won't be more than 300k n would have sold it for over a million now.
That's more than enough to live comfortably in naija rather than begging for food on social media.

The hallmark of journalism is objectivity which simply mean reporting the the two sides of every story. In the age of social media, anything goes online without vetting.
Agbala Gabriel church in Inadan was the first to share the story which went viral within few hours. The efforts of the prophet is commendable for digging further on the personality of self-acclaimed prof Amos Ishola Awodiya.
So unfortunate that many bloggers jumped on the story without any further enquiry. Their actions have created alot of psychological trauma to the larger family of Awodiya.
A renowned family from Ilesa with history of diligence, hardworking and resilience. This family boast of experts, technocrats, academia, businessmen and women and their children and grandchildren are doing well in their chosen professions.
This self-acclaimed professor has wife and children. In fact, the children and graoundchildren visited him after the viral video in his new abode at Agbala Gabriel church.
All his claims are dubious and his story is distorted. He abandoned his family and was globe-trotting, enjoying life, influence and power. His lack of attention and care for the family resulted in negative impact on the children.
Thank God for the due-deligeince of the prophet. Otherwise, Nigerians who have belived the wrong narrative hook line and sinker. Till moment, even mainstream media are still sharing the erroneous perspectives.
Mr. Amos Ishola Awodiya is still a bonafide member of the family and the family is willing to receive him back despite his long isolated odyssey. May he find peace and true reconcilation.
Please, stop the lies and halt the share.
