What holds the north and south together is the oil and gas that is controlled by the northerners here. Again, when they talk about their north, they tend to forcefully, as I call it, include those of the middle belt, who on a lot of occasions do not want to be associated with them.

There has been no peace, no joy and rest of mine, since Buhari’s wicked government allowed herdsmen to arrive into the forests in the entire south. In the same Uromi, women became scared of going to their farms on their own. Herdsmen rape and kill them instantly in their farms. Nothing has come out of it, after several years of crying and complaining. The so called northerners did nothing. Ahmed Musa shut his mouth to all the evil committed by his fellow northerners. Ahmed Musa says it’s not about religion. What happened in the case of Deborah and other Christians killed for nothing in the north? Has anyone killed any Muslim in the South for abusing the Christian faith? The South is very tolerant and at peace. The North is full of trouble please.

Is it not time for the north to go its own way, seeing such deep divide in the country? If we were one country, why would northern leaders rub in it our faces that the north was attacked, rather than say fellow Nigerians were attacked, as it should be.

It is so sad that such loss took place. It is disgusting that the people were brutally murdered, even if they were carrying machetes. The killing is as absolutely unnecessary and evil. However, it was the reaction of many years of wickedness from herdsmen in that area. Like I said a couple of days ago, it is quite dangerous travelling on the stretch of road between Onicha Ugbo/Isele Uku/Onicha Olona axis to Uromi/Ewohinmi in Edo state. It always appears deserted and fearful. Herdsmen control that road and even with vigilantes there, they still trouble travelers. Uromi has been made dangerous in the day and night by herdsmen.

Government must wake up to its responsibility. The farms in the north must be made safe again. That way northern farmers won’t leave in droves to go to areas where there’s peace. Also the forests and highways nationwide must be made safe again. State police must be encouraged. Allowing citizens to bear fire arms must be encouraged.

Never in support of jungle justice or self help of any sort, I'm not surprised this is coming from a professional baller ending up in Kano pillars, when his colleagues are winding up their career session in better football clubs with huge pay. From what he wrote up there, he's somewhat judgemental and taking sides. I was wondering when northerners became mindful of life. Killing of farmers that happened in Ondo state last month, how many northern governors came out to address the killings?

U claim they are hunters, where is their license, ID cards or other means of identification? Deeper investigation needs to be done here to avoid future occurrence.

I wish Fulani herdsmen continued with their nomadic lifestyle without hurting anyone. If that was the case, none of these would have happened. Fulanis used to flock our community with their cows when we were kids and their young girls would walk round the nooks and crannies of our community selling the infamous "fura da nunu".

These waves of murderous Fulanis are in fact foreign Fulanis from other West African countries in the Sahel who majorly speak French and their local dialects of Fulani language, so they are CLEARLY desensitized to the deep pains that all indigenous Nigerian ethnicities (including the Hausa farmers and communities) in practically all the nooks and crannies of Nigeria feel.

I can indeed confirm that those 16 guys who were burned to death and filmed using mobile phones were indeed Hausa hunters and NOT Fulanis as being FALSELY pushed online by dishonest bloggers and YouTubers to justify the highly irresponsible killings. Fulanis traditionally do NOT engage in hunting but prefer cattle herding. The Hausa farmers and communities themselves have long suffered kidnappings and killings in the North of Nigeria since the early 2000s before the Fulani herders and banditry menace spread fully to the South of Nigeria.

Other West African countries such as Ghana don't allow these negative strands of Fulani herders and bandits to just move around the countries in the name of the so-called ECOWAS protocol which guarantees freedom of movement and its time for the folks in all the crannies in Nigeria to speak with ONE voice, boycott all cattle meat, and the governments MUST restrict the movements of all foreign Fulani herders now to minimize tensions.

The Fulanis are NOT even up to 25 million in all the West African countries they claim to be citizens of yet they relentlessly terrorize far bigger Nigeria ethnic groups such as the Hausa, Yoruba, Ibo, Kanuri, etc, who each are far bigger than the Fulanis in size and population. There's absolutely NOTHING spectacular about the Fulanis that they CANNOT be totally tamed. ENOUGH is enough.

Foolish man. So Fulani are the superhumans tribe we have in Nigeria. God I'm in shock that this is reality.
