NGA isn't part if the passport number. That's the country code.

Guys, I need help and advice. I'm currently in a serious predicament. I recently went for my visa interview and I was turned back at the gate reason being that that I omitted the letter on my passport. (For instance, my passport number is A123456, I only included the 123456, omitting the letter during my registration). It's been almost two years since I applied and it didn't occur to me honestly.

I'm losing my mind right now. Please what would you advise? I have written countless sympathetic emails to the embassy already but no reply yet 😭😭

You can only wait. No one has been called to book an appointment from the new portal booking. They have to finish the old booking first, and they're currently at July 2024

After checking my documents and asking me questions like why Germany and why do I want to study the course , if I had a family in Germany and the person’s details. Then he said he will like to test me .. and asked what is my favorite subject I said .. physics . Next he gave me physics and maths .. .

In our passport,where we have the biodata page the passport number details there is 9 in total including the Alphabet.

But when you look down to where you have that country code stuff,theres an additional number there which wasn't part of the normal passport number.
Abeg people that had gone to the Embassy should explain this to us,let us not wait in vain. Is it 9 characters in total including the Alphabet?? @Hannania

Your passport number is 9 digits with no country code. E.,G A12345678 OR B87654321. If this is not what you used to book, Mr Paulinus will never grant you access in
