Hello All I hope 2025 is going well for everyone I am doing a Teachers Appreciation Gift for April 2025. I did the Last one in April & July 2019 (You can check that Thread) I am doing this as i was in Nigeria Earlier this Year and went to a few schools and saw how teacher are Struggling Financially I want to bless 40 New Graduate Teachers or Nigerians who are teaching in Nigeria Secondary Schools with 50,000 Naira each I know it may not be a big amount but i am following the principle that what you make happen for others God will Make Happen for you - Matthew 7:12 Its Wednesday 2nd April 2025 so i going to respond to the first 5 Male Teachers and first 5 Female Teachers in Four Batches making 40 Teachers. You must respond by sending the following details below to my email address : 1 - Full Name and Naira-land ID Name (So i will post an abbreviation of your ID name on the thread when the transfer is made - Check the post i did in July 2019 for confirmation that i paid the funds) 2 - University in Nigeria that you Graduated from (Its must be Federal or State University - No Private University Graduates and dont ask me why, it is obvious) 3 - Telephone Number 4 - Name of School that you teach at. 5 - Bank Details 6 - School Address and Telephone Number so that i can confirm that you are teaching there 7 - I will also pick out 2 Teachers 1 Male and 1 Female and pay for their Masters Degree Course in Nigeria if they are planing to study further I will make the Transfer on the 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th April 2025 Here is my email: martin.osi@gmx.com If you have face-book please send the link so we can also connect. Well done OP, Teachers are really struggling in the country, coming early to school and leaving last, you must prepare your note of lessons on time and deal with sexual harassment from the head teacher or Headmaster, (for the female teachers whom I know). All these for peanuts as salary Sometimes these salaries are late in coming or deducted for flimsy excuses. Most schools actually deduct salaries as tithe😒 Disgusting really. If the Government Could add that 50k to teacher’s salaries, then more and more credible people will seek teaching jobs, then the future of the next generation will be brighter For now it’s looking bleak and bleaker. This here is a major problem of our schools today, staff welfare. My Sister earns 20k in a Nursery school she’s hanging on to, now let’s say there’s an increase of 50k to her pay, bringing it to a total of 70k, it’s small in our economy today, but better than nothing, it looks enticing and could actually put a smile on many faces. But now she’s planning on quitting cos the salary package is small, add on top of that, the head teachers constant advances on her, and his hostile actions towards her, after turning him down times without number. I think you should also allow polytechnic graduates who are teachers to apply. I don't know what the exact statistics are but polytechnics graduates seem to go into teaching a lot after graduation. |
