A woman whose identity is yet to be ascertained has allegedly killed her younger sister with a cutlass.

The suspect also attempted to kill her mother and her younger sister’s child.

The incident occurred in Aji community located in Enugu-Ezike, Igbo Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State.

The video of the incident was shared Wednesday by a Facebook user identified as Anyika TV.

The suspect in the video claimed that she was possessed by a strange being, which made her commit the horrific act.

DAILY POST learnt that the suspect’s mother and niece have been rushed to Bishop Shanahan hospital in Nsukka where they are now battling for their lives.

Police are yet to confirm the incident at the time of filing this report.

Mental health is not given the attention needed in Nigeria.

Often people going through mental problem are termed demonic and taken to churches or native doctors, instead of taking them to the right place.
The self acclaimed spiritualist or god of men will even make the situation worse.

Family members are also a big problem. Because of the stigma and name calling in the communities,most families will rather chose the option of living in denier. They are more comfortable calling the situation spiritual attack.
