Authorities in Nigeria are not good at managing traffic. These guys could have worked throughout the public holidays and weekends. People were subjected to terrible frustration, stress and inconveniences today. I really felt bad coming to island today. I thought traffic won't be much as many people would want to stay at home after the eid holidays.

Meanwhile, your suggestion, "Huge Traffic Jams In The Islands Of Lagos " is wrong, because there were traffic jams in Lekki and Lekki is not an island .

Some are getting worked up at the "Lagos smells" comments.

Lagos does smell. Large swathes of it. Getting angry doesn't change anything.

Garbage/disposal is a challenge. Water and air pollution are serious problems. Environmental awareness simply isn't a thing for the majority of people who live in Lagos. It is inevitable that the city will smell.
