That's why I keep driving in the rain regardless. If you wait for all the Lagos motorists taking shelter during the rain, when the rain stops, you will find yourself stuck in crazy traffic.

All the cars will be out at the same time, clogging all the arteries of the roads all at once. Nobody would want to obey traffic signs because they wanna get home on time.

Lagos is a little bit overrated for me.

Lagos roads are too tight for its population.

Too many people own cars in the city and drives it daily. Had it been there are functional rail system connecting key locations, most people would leave cars at home and use train.

I am still in traffic. Left my office since 6.30pm

The traffic is terrible in Lagos today since morning. I don't understand what this government consider the citizens to be. You want to reconstruct a road and there is no adequate plan put in place to prevent gridlock knowing fully well that there are just 2 major roads that connect VI to Mainland. People spent valuable time in gridlock to and fro their offices with huge economic loss.
