Hmmm! Dr Olukoya actually calls his Ministry a "do it yourself ministry." That's why the members take their own oil, water or any other item there to pray over them personally. He teaches people to fight their own battles. They have prayer Warriors and deliverance Pastors for those who can't help themselves. Such people may also insist on seeing him but he preaches and teaches self fought battles with God on one's side. He believes that we all have the capability to turn things around in our lives if we follow God's words and pray with confidence and absolute trust in the Lord.

I'm not a member but I've read some of his books and learnt a lot about spirituality. Same man is a first class scientist with PhD in molecular genetics so he combines the physical and spiritual knowledge to guide people.

You want to be schooled in basic theology 101?? The church is the gathering of the believers, those who recognise the risen Jesus as their Lord and saviour. No matter the size, location, building, or social status, once Christ is the reason why they regularly gather, it qualifies to be called a church

That event took place on the day of Pentecost, a Jewish religious celebration where Jews leave their countries of residence and come to celebrate it in Jerusalem. Also, it's later mentioned in Acts 4:4 that 5,000 people converted after witnessing the healing of a crippled man. If 3,000 people converted in Acts 2, remember that a good number of the visiting Jews mocked the apostles in that same chapter and later the chief priest and Sanhedrin arrested the apostles, so we see those ones didn't convert

Remember that Christianity was still strictly a Jews-only religion at this point, and they were already at least 8,000. Now add to that the missionary journeys of Paul and Barnarbas and later Silas, you'll see that the world ( under the Roman empire then) was already large and very populous.

Acts covers mainly the regions of Asia closest to Jerusalem and a few places in the rest of the world were mentioned. I hope this makes sense
