Well done oh. I didnt know Peter Obi had supporters at the time of the commencement of Eko Atlantic City, 17 years ago in 2008.
Please you people should get tired of this one dimensional focus on PO and the East. They are not the only critics of the government in this country. Is it even possible that critics only exist in one tribe?
Peter OBI doesn't have a fresh supporter.
Na the same TANoid people of GEJ in 2011/215 became IPOBS post 2015 became Atikulate in 2019 became IPOB terrorists post 2019 and became Obidients in 2022/2023.

There are plenty evidence

all they need to do now is add some artificial lakes and watering spots and seed their sky and in a few years they will start having regular rain.

How are you so sure that its not avenue for stealing?

What is the proof that Eko Atlantic project where USA currently building her world largest consulate general is currently is for looting?....you mean they are looting USA government, just make yourself clear.

We know you are in opposition, you hate Tinubu, you hate Lagos,You hate APC...but you shouldn't hate being logical, reasonable and objective!
You can clearly see the difference between a project without corruption and one conceived to enrich politicians.

The Egyptian project is just 7 years old and there is more accomplishments there than Eko Atlantic that is over 20 years now.

Now that Tinubu has access to Federal Government money, he will use it to speed up the development of Eko Atlantic which is what the whole Lagos-Calabar road project is about.

At the end of the day, it's just a project to enrich the Tinubu family and friends

This is very future proof, the next Nigeria regime should have it in mind to build a futuristic business, technology, industrial and commercial capital for Nigeria by carving out parts of kogi and Edo state bordering river Niger where there's enough space, dredging it via the river niger down to the Atlantic Ocean, there is land very much unutilized around that axis, and build a hyper scale futuristic technology and commercial capital that will host next generation business hubs.
They should use the entire confluence region.

Nigerians are really very funny people. Ordinary to build a befitting VP lodge in Abuja, the administration was attacked and insulted like Shettima will take the house away to Maiduguri after his tenure.

When Tinubu started the Eko Atlantic City and Lagos-Calabar coastal highway, Peter Obi and his supporters made it a daily routine to speak evil of the project. Now, same folks are here to praise Egypt for spending $58billion on a new capital city.

They like the massive buildings and infrastructure in other countries but they condemn same in Nigeria. Peter Obi the poster child of the hate filled opposition did not build a single classroom when he was governor for 8 years. There is no single legacy infrastructure to his name. In fact, Soludo just finished building the first general hospital in Onitsha this year. Yet, that kind of shallow mind is being projected as the messiah of Nigeria 🤣🤣🤣
what makes the previous residence of the VP unbefitting and what makes this new one befitting?

what value is the VP adding that warrants 15b to be spent on his accommodation considering that the present government ask nigerians to make sacrifices?

The reclamation for the foundation of eko atlantic started in February 2008. where did you see peter obi and his supporters in 2008?

can you state the benefit that will accrue to nigerians as a result of this Lagos/Calabar highway?

are there federal roads within this Lagos/Calabar corridor?

what is the state of those roads right now?

what do you mean by "legacy infrastructure"?

at the time obi was governor, was there a dearth of schools in anambra that created the need to build new schools?

Abuja lacks signature buildings, just littered with average duplexes here and there

Can Yoruba stay a day without spreading propaganda against the rest of the south? I think not.

There has been 2 general hospitals in Onitsha even before I was born. The one at Awka road Onitsha north, and the one at water works Onitsha south. Now this is apart from other state owned and mission owned hospitals in same Onitsha.

Yoruba, these unprovoked attacks and propaganda you unleash against the south, what is your ultimate gain? A peaceful coexistence with the north? No, you're smarter than that. This is nothing but pure hatred!

It's a white elephant project.

The government wants to move away from Cairo which is usually the centre of protests. Protests there overthrew Mubarak and Muslim Brotherhood leader that came after him.

You spoke my mind, better soup na money kill am, we can't develop as a country when we can not invest massively in infrastructure, imagine 58 billion dollar, Nigeria has never invested even half of this amount on any single project since military time till now, ordinary Calabar coastal highway wen nor reach how many billion dollar we they shout say na highway to fruad, we can't keep doing things the old way and expect a different result, this same Egypt invested billions of dollars in a short period of time to achieve a stable electricity

Express yourself without name calling. How would they sustain the economy precisely when they are so indebted and the projects they have been spending money on, building a new city in a desert is hardly 40% completed?

The most successful city built from the scratch in the entire world is Abuja, Nigeria. I wish Egyptians well in this attempt
Re: Photos Of Egypt $58b New Capital City Project by Reference(m): 12:55pm On Apr 03, 2025
This is modern architecture, qualitative, integrated planning. Official buildings looking grand and 'official'....

This is patently lacking in Nigeria and it's vaunted capital city, Abuja where the skyline looks so haphazard with buildilngs of vastly
differing concepts erected side by side.

And massive infrastructure is only possible via massive industry to successfully control costs.

If a nation can produce cement, steel, aluminum, industrial plastics, fabricate machine tools and equipment etc economically then it can not only build cheaply but maintain sustainably all sorts of infrastructure.

Without that even the basic infrastructure will cost an arm and leg to establish and cost a king's ransome to keep in good order.

Industrialization is everything.

If Ajaokuta steel mill could be finished and retooled to manufacture rail tracks and sleepers alone, within ten years every town in the country can be connected by rail services and the cost of of living and doing business will be halved.
