GloriousGbola:Bros, the truth is u have just adjusted Ur mindset to getting ripped off to the extent that u will defend banks for making illegal "account maintenance fees" deductions from Ur account balance. Those charges/debits are complete rip off and not justifiable. Maybe u don't know, u are doing the banks a whole lot of favors keeping Ur cash with them and not keeping Ur cash inside piggy bank at home or buried under Ur room. These banks use the money u save with them to trade, to buy Eurobonds, to lend to other customers while charging cut-throat interest rates while giving u little or nothing in return....... The irony is that most people who are abroad and have accounts with foreign banks don't suffer these things. I saw a Twitter user who claimed he opened an account with Lloyd's bank the same time he kept naira in his naija bank account something around 2014/2015. He said as of recent the Lloyd's bank account balance remains same while his naira bank account balance has depreciated significantly over time. That should tell u that we are being robbed while the government regulatory agencies fold their arms and do nothing. I learnt out of Zenith's recent 1 trillion PAT, about 74 billion or thereabouts came from bank charges. The question is ; What exactly did they do to maintain an account I saved my money which they used to trade at will? |

BlueRayDick:Nigerian banks are too lazy to do the work of real banking. They don't support businesses, people aspiring to own homes, or do any of the things banks abroad do, so all that's left is robbing their customers in the name of bank charges. |

DissTroy:If a sentimental man is dangerous, then every man is, cause we all have our biases and sentiments...knowing and acknowledging them is the koko. In this Akpabio situation, trust me, there's no sentiments involved, and that's why I've been calling for a transparent process all along. Any objective mind would know that someone that's been accused of crimes bordering on sexual harassment and abuse repeatedly and has a reputation for making unguarded utterances (one with video evidence directed at one of his accusers) deserves a critical, or at least a transparent look into. Stop trying to detract from the Akpabio situation by roping Olukoya into it. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 12:03pm On Apr 03, 2025 |
Theflint1:Naija banks actually support businesses, but their interest rates are crazy. That is why most business promoters always default and banks take over their assets. That's why there are so many prominent business names on AMCON debtors list. You are right Nigerian banks see the bank charges as easy and soft way of making money |

raumdeuter:No tenant had moved out already. He was just owing. Like I said, the person that is owing would not like to spend on a lawyer. He would prefer if you called police than go to court. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Spy360(m): 12:10pm On Apr 03, 2025 |
iamoyindamola:I specifically mentioned a case of someone owing you money. That person would not like to spend extra paying a lawyer. It's better to go to court than call police. Either way you will spend. But if you call police, he can go free. If you sue him, he must come to court to explain with a lawyer or with the money or a due promise to pay. |

Breaking News! Federal Prosecutors drop charges against man falsely accused by Rep. Nancy Mace in Chicago: https://thechicagolandjournal.com/statement-federal-prosecutors-drop-charges-against-chicago-man-rep-nancy-mace-falsely-accused-of-assault/ . --- Guess what? 1. Rep. Nancy Mace isn't going to face any jail term for falsely accusing the man of rape. 2. The man has been forever branded as a ràpist by the internet and feminists aka misandrists would continue to tag him a ràpist regardless. Like I opined days ago, if Akpabio were a regular man on the street, jail would have been a kinder fate for him. Like Rep. Nancy Mace, a bulk of those who presumed Natasha was stating the truth and/or had a case - the lack of evidence regardless, were... You guessed right: men; men like TheFlint1. Anyway, let's continue to believe any woman accusing without evidence. It will go round. ![]() |

DissTroy: ![]() James McIntyre submitted himself to a transparent legal process and he can hold his head high knowing he triumphed and a simple Google search would provide evidence of his innocence. Akapbio however can't do same because he was wrongly advised, and when people Google his name, all they'd see was he was accused of sexual harassment and chose instead to use his power as Senate president to get his accuser suspended. However much you and I might think he's innocent, we might never know the truth of things because of how he handled things...and whoever won the battle of shaping the narrative (Natasha) would determine how he's forever perceived. |

Given that Kyari was sacked for phantom refinery projects, can we say the PH refinery production is also partly a lamba? |

Theflint1:Stop being naive! In any sexual-hued or assault accusation, a man never wins. Whatever victory he gets at the court or legally - even if the accusing woman does confess to her falsehood - is pyrrhic: it comes at the the cost of his reputation being forever charred. - Greenwood recently got called a ràpist by Bellingham despite Greenwood's accuser admitting she blew her accusations out of proportion, and he's still with the woman who accused him; even had a child with her. - Johnny Depp is still forever branded an abuser despite the public revelations of him being the real victim of his accuser, Amber Heard. - Ronaldo is still being taunted as a ràpist. - UcheMandyMUFC who was falsely accused by B_moree had to change his username because feminists continued to insist he raped her, despite the evidence to the contrary and B_Moree recanting her insinuation. - Ese Oniru and Bukola Dakolo had no evidence or people corroborating their stories but the clergymen they accused have been forever branded. The day MFM's Dr. Olukoya becomes very opinionated about Nigerian sociopolitics, the false accusations yesterday would be used against him. As a man, the moment a woman accuses you - falsely even, the world forever puts an asterisk on your name. You know this, I know this, we know this. |

Theflint1:Did you call for a transparent process in Olukoyas case before you felt the allegations were nonsense |

Ibime:my colleague working in terminals confirmed it. he was there during the commissioning. said it was a complete shit show. he was asking another guy who had been elevated in the new dispensation - guy - if this happened in the old days we would all be getting serious query. they need to deabokify . they are simply too laid back in the way they do things. and no process whatsoever imagine telling people to start project without PO. and this is the fking natural order of things then you finish work in febuary and are not paid until decemeber |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 1:30pm On Apr 03, 2025 |
raumdeuter:If Olukoya starts to move funny the way Akpabio did, as though he's trying to oppress his accuser I'd call for a transparent process. Olukoya is an upstanding citizen, Akpabio is whoever we know him to be, of course I'd give Olukoya the benefit of doubt when such accusations are made against him. I was at first indifferent and neutral (unlike Disstroy who sided with him from the jump) and only called for transparency, which I think is fair still when he used his authority as senate leader to get Natasha punished. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by DissTroy(m): 1:34pm On Apr 03, 2025 |
Theflint1:Rubbish! My post history and antecedence on and off this platform prove I have ALWAYS sided with any man accused by a woman of sexual assault, harassment or molestation WITHOUT PROOF. If a woman accuses you this minute, TheFlint, without proof, I'd take your side a 100%, no questions asked. |

Theflint1:You know this how? Did Akpabio stop Natasha from going to court? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by DissTroy(m): 1:39pm On Apr 03, 2025 |
During the Lockdown in 2020, I happened on a misandrists-masking-as-feminists thread on Twitter. In the nested comments, I found a book being shared authored by an anonymous person called DAMN. DAMN is the acronym for "Destroy A Man Now". In the book when I downloaded, it shares tips on how to destroy a man. The first chapter focused on the weaponisation of false accusations, and employing tools of tears and threats of mental health. I've reread the book almost twice a year since then. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 1:43pm On Apr 03, 2025 |
DissTroy:Lol, so you've read that book at least 8 times since 2020 ![]() You do need to take it easy. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 1:50pm On Apr 03, 2025 |
raumdeuter:Anyone that has followed the history of both men since they became public figures would have an opinion on them...that's my subjective opinion on Olukoya. Akpabio is mostly perceived terribly (random social media sampling). Akpabio did not stop Natasha from going to court, and she's gone to court, doesn't mean he hasn't used his position as Senate president to make her life hell since then - abuse of power. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by DissTroy(m): 1:55pm On Apr 03, 2025 |
Theflint1:No, I need to protect myself and my male acquaintances (relatives and friends) because I know when push comes to shove, the world would sacrifice us on the altar of political correctness and elevation of women. Yes, I've shared it to them too, especially the ones who have a thing for somewhat radical popular women on social media. Here's the book: https://norskk.is/bytta/menn/damn_angela.pdf . It's not voluminous but it lives up to its hype of toxicity. Now you know the handbook the Feminist Coven on X operate on and why they won't be nice to you if you get falsely accused. Solomon Buchi, a hitherto male feminist, found out the hard way. He's retraced his steps now. You are a man - you are the target to be taken down. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 2:05pm On Apr 03, 2025 |
DissTroy:Thanks, I'd give the book a look-in. Solomon Buchi was a hardcore grifter that peddled opinions he hadn't given a second thought to...it got him in the good books of women, and he got rewarded handsomely while he pushed that grift. My guess is people started to see through his grift and he did a 180. |

Reccy...I'm sure there's opportunity to pursue a class action suit against those that were involved in identity theft and impersonation.
