It's only in Nigeria you find an SSCE holder teaching even in a primary school even in some secondary school. They would also come and claim "Teacher" to get 50K. How do you want to verify their claims?

Some that have never entered the four walls of a classroom will also come and claim "Teacher" to get 50K. How do you want to verify their claims?

Some that have a B.Sc in Engineering, Arts, Medicine or any other subjects but are jobless or doing business and have never taught before in their lives will come here and claim "Teacher" just to get 50K.

Some that are staying at home too will come and claim "Teacher". How do u want to verify this..

Anybody can say I went to the University, how do u want to verify this?

That's because most Private Schools in Nigeria hire just anybody with qualifications or not to work in their school and answer "Teacher".

Government schools are doing it the best. If u didn't study Education and you don't have TRCN Certificate and License, you can't get employed.

So, I will just take it that you want to help the general public whether Teacher or not. Which is a very good gesture. Keep it up.

My appeal to the public is if u know you are not a Teacher and you have never taught before in your life, please don't apply for this 50K so that the money can reach the REAL Teachers who need it.

I have been a Teacher and I know the struggles teachers go through daily. I started teaching with N5000 monthly salary in 2009 with SSCE.

In 2019, I was offered N30K monthly to work as a Teacher in 2019. With a whole (B.Sc) Bachelors Degree o.

Even as a WAEC Examiner, if I tell you how much a whole WAEC paid me for marking exams scripts last year 2024, u will cry. A meagre 24k. I was almost shedding tears.

Infact, let me not even say anything becos the country does not value Education atall.

Right now, I will not encourage anybody to be a Teacher in Nigeria in 2025 or in the coming future.

I will enjoin all Professional Teachers to look for ways to move abroad. I just got my TEFL Certificate. I will enjoin all Teachers with a B.Sc to get this certificate and look for jobs in Japan.

Japan is looking for ESL Teachers. Once u have a B.Sc and TEFL, you can apply for jobs with Visa Sponsorship in Japan. YouTube research will give u move information on it.

You can also move to USA, Australia, Canada, New Zealand. These countries need Teachers.

With Australia, Canada and New Zealand, you move as PR from Nigeria. The steps is very easy. But hold funds for IELTS and others.

USA is the easiest. Once u do Credentials Evaluation. Then look for Schools District in USA with J1 Visa or H1-B Visa Sponsorship.

UK needs Teacher too but the steps has become difficult. They no longer hire from overseas like in 2023 and 2024 even with QTS.

They still hire but it's slow.

Please go on YouTube and do own research on all these. You don't need anyone to help you. You are a graduate. Put ur research skills to work. Don't wait to be spoon fed.

This information is gotten from the few research I have been making over the years.

Na money dey hold me if not I for don japa. And also I am thinking of doing my Postgraduate degree in Nigeria before I Japa. If that makes sense. May God help me.

No good laws to restrain those who didn't read education from practicing that is why private schools can be bold to bargain a graduate 20k in 2025 for teaching more than 15 learners monthly .They know if you don't accept it another person not qualified(under graduate or someone who didn't read education)would take your place.
I have my TRCN Certificate and License and currently practicing.Nigerian senate need to help Teachers(Qualified Education Graduates).

There are graduates (BSc. MSc. And PhD holders) who did not stem from the teaching line, but are doing far more exploits in the teaching profession than the trained teachers. I think the focus should be on impact rather than path (education line or otherwise)

I always say it that in life, what some people need is Information.

Most Nigerians that are abroad today got there because they got access to information which they took advantage off.

Now their story has changed forever.

My TRCN certificate and license no be mere paper o 📜! Na evidence of my training and qualification to teach 📚. And I know say many other qualified teachers dey suffer like me 🤕.

Pharmacist professional body for Naija don get permission from government to stop unqualified persons from opening pharmacy 🚫. Dem don close down some pharmacy for north recently 🤯. Imagine even aboki dey get pharmacy lol (e shock u) 🤣.

Pharmacy no be just business, na profession 🤝. Because somebody sit close to pharmacist friend for years and fit prescribe drugs better than some (not all) doctors, no mean say dat person get privilege or right to start pharmacy business 🚫.

If you get passion for course, you fit do PGD of one year and get qualification to help you gather more understanding of course 📚. Because pikin dey look him papa or mama and learn how to drive by imitating dem and start practicing every day, no mean say him be qualified driver 🚗.

I dey walk with one unqualified driver wey I know one day, when I tell am say make him leave road and come pedestrian lane, him dey ask me where pedestrian lane dey? 🤔 I tell am, and him shock say him never know before 🤯. Dat's why most accidents dey happen because most unqualified drivers no know say people wey dey walk for road get place to walk wey cars no fit drive or park 🚫.

Make unqualified drivers go driving school, no be by driving one way or driving on pedestrian lane to escape traffic jam 🚗. There's need to go driving school so dat you fit learn road signs and other crucial things wey fit cause accident 📚.
You need to see where "i can drive" danfo drivers wey i believe no go driving school dey curse pedestrians (owners of leggediz buggati) to leave the pedestrian lane because dey need to beat traffic jam 🤣 e no easy my sister.


Lastly,for example, if a teacher teach a student wrong formula for calculating medication dosage, e fit lead to overdose or underdose, wey go put patient life at risk 💊. Teaching dey delicate.
Make we no forget say teaching no be just about impact, na about qualifications and training too 📚.

If you want to give advice, give something possible for people to do? How many teachers can handle basics of computer for them to know that one scholarship exist?
How many of them will the so called countries absolved?
Why are many of us on the notion of “only if you travel abroad for you to make it”
Even if scholarship is awarded, you think it’s easy to leave husband and children alone and flee to a place you know nobody.
Being rich and depressed and lonely and being poor with joy and peace of mind? I know you will pick first. Is everything about money or living a life that gives peace and happiness?
If you don’t have advice apart from going abroad, don’t bother advice please,
You are just about making money you don’t even consider what environment and other factors that can affect one psychologically.
You can get there self and be regretting, no families to look up to if you have any problem, no friends, you will just be alone for years.
If you don’t plan very well, your marriage or family might scatter because of this decision.
I am not against people relocating but if you want to advice, give advice that’s possible to imbibe.
People are suffering yet people are making crazy money in this Nigeria, what you just need to keep doing is to keep learning. A girl told me she makes like 500k monthly on testing of application for companies. I was surprised. It’s even in someone in university.
So, what I think teachers need is to keep learning, that’s one of the things that can help them.
When I say learning, not just something relating to your studies in school, learn wide, broaden your scope about many things either you need it or not, you never can tell which one will click.

But to me i think it’s skills, no be everyone whey read theater art dey act. That’s how teaching is. Most of the so called content creator and actors no go line art class in secondary school and them they act. Teaching should be mostly on passion skill before certification.

Its Wednesday 2nd April 2025 so i going to respond to the first 5 Male Teachers and first 5 Female Teachers in Four Batches making 40 Teachers.

You must respond by sending the following details below to my email address :

1 - Full Name and Naira-land ID Name (So i will post an abbreviation of your ID name on the thread
when the transfer is made - Check the post i did in July 2019 for confirmation that i paid the funds)

2 - University in Nigeria that you Graduated from (Its must be Federal or State University - No Private University Graduates and dont ask me why, it is obvious)

3 - Telephone Number

4 - Name of School that you teach at.

5 - Bank Details

6 - School Address and Telephone Number so that i can confirm that you are teaching there

7 - I will also pick out 2 Teachers 1 Male and 1 Female and pay for their Masters Degree Course in Nigeria

Tohsynetita1,If na so, I suppose to dey give people injection because I sabi shook injection lol 😂. But no be so now! If I get passion, I need to go study and get degree and license 📚.

For every one unqualified teacher wey dey teach because dem think dem fit or dem don be told say dem fit teach, there be 10 qualified education graduates wey take pain go get qualification for am, but dem dey deprive of good salary because dem go dey willing to do dem job for half or less than half of wetin dem suppose pay dem 💸.

And to make matter worse, you go hear something like "see am, him wey study education no fit get job, me wey no finish secondary school (or no read education) I dey teach" 🙄. Forgetting say graduate don put in lot of work to become who him be and suppose get good pay.

I no dey dispute say we no get people wey study education wey no fit defend dem result, but dat one no be privilege or right for uneducated person to start teach 🙅‍♂️. I dey talk from experience 👊.

Most time when I enter new school, I go see fellow teacher wey be graduate, but no read education, dey write for board, na internet grammar dem dey use teach learners 📝. Dem dey use construction wey no correct, no punctuation, no paragraphs 🤦‍♂️. Dem sometimes teach outside scope of lesson, wey be against ethics of profession 🙅‍♂️.

Dat's why I dey say dem need to be groomed, get educational qualification for am, before dem start teaching 📚. E go give dem good foundation to add to dem passion ❤️.


When you get qualification, you go know more about wetin you dey do 📚, and parents sef go appreciate your work verbally and with funds 💸. Your employer go quick increase your salary 📈.

Teaching get ethics, principles guiding am 📜, not just coming to stand to talk 🗣️ cho cho cho,(no disrespect to intelligent graduates but there are rules to everything). There be certain things you no suppose do for lesson period, like teaching outside scope of lesson 🙅‍♂️, because dat's what I dey see most unqualified teachers dey do 🤦‍♂️. I no blame dem though 🙅‍♂️.

To dem, dem want teach children all dem have for dem head one day 🤯, sometimes because as dem dey teach, dem no fit control euphoria of moment 😆.
