Someone should kindly assist me please,
i just got a new phone due to my Samsung bad screen,
My bad, i forgot that Etisalat network has been down for several months now, i have been trying to login in to my WhatsApp ,verification code was sent but , all to no avail due to network issues.
The old phone has been formatted and also note that all my chat has been backed up via my mail, so i wasn't expecting WhatsApp to verify my number again.
i have sent mail to support, no response

What other methods can i use to login besides the verification code?

I cant change the number because it is my main line and i cant port either

Did you added an email to your WhatsApp? If you did, they'll send code there too when you wanna login from another device.

Aside this and the phone number, no other way unfortunately.

I was experiencing same issue now. There is no network atall on my Etisalat line so someone told me to try changing my location, I even went to their office at Ikeja and still same so I decided to go to Oshodi BRT park as instructed by the guy ooo. Omo Etisalat network was on 4 bars with their active data blazing. Omo I shock. I quickly send whatsapp code and I received immediately. I even tried to make calls and it was going as if BRT Oshodi park na their HQ.

So I will advise to try this method. Or give your sim card to someone who visit oshodi whella. So they can Forwarded you the whatsapp code

That's strange, you're supposed to be able to receive a mail if you wanna login from another device. Perhaps it got unlinked at some point..I wish I can be of more help. You may just have to try registering with another line

I also have a 9mobile line and it happens to be my hotline, right now sef no network for the phone, it's been like that for weeks now.

Can you imagine the stupid network. So people wey dey outside Lagos now gas come to oshodi cos of one foolish network. Me wey go soon break the sim, na small remain. They can't fix their bullsh!t and expecting everyone to go to oshodi for network. It's just unfortunate that it's my hotline, I go just commot the sim for my phone flush am for toilet, nonsense network. Person no fit even receive bank alerts..rubbish.

Find a place the network exist , do your business

Yes but the network outlet doesnt open that very sunday so this is the trick for porting away from Etisalat it worked for me..

When I was at Oshodi BRT where their network was on full network bar..

I change all my account recovery details carrying my etisalat no.. I received all codes and change to my airtel asap..

I send PORT to 3232 and I got a response to proceed to my preferred choice of network..

So the trick is you must send and receive message from 3232 on the day you wanna port from Etisalat..

So eatwell at home and dedicate a day for the task by going to Oshodi BRT Lane...

Send PORT to 3232 and they will reply asap...

Just locate any outlet of your preferred network provider and tell them you wanna port..

They will ask if you have received SMS from 3232.. So it doesnt matter again if ETISALAT get network or not..

Porting takes less than 30mins execpt they are other customers on the queue..

Process was very easy..

Exactly my brother. I which this thread can be on the frontpage.. Make everybody dey drop update on how to move away from the useless network. Make we all drop updates.
