Many hate Otitoju because he works in the media house owned by someone they hate.

During election campaigns, Arise News was the media organization used to demarket Tinubu. Ojy Okpe always brought Tinubu's gaffes in the name of "What's Trending" to make fun of the man. Rufai Oseni and Ayo Maero-Ese were the most vitriolic in their comments. What exactly was TVC expected to do? Sit by and allow a media station rubbish their owner?

Arise was pro-PDP, pro-LP, and pro-Emefiele. TVC was pro-APC. Even when TVC wanted to interview Peter Obi, he refused to come.

When election results were announced, Rufai Oseni was sad and pained in his mannerisms. TVC floored them because their propaganda failed. That was when Rufai Oseni started beefing Otitoju. Otitoju removed food from his hands.

While they fought Wike, Wike invited AIT, Channels, NTA and TVC for paid media chat. Those media houses made money while Arise News lost out. Seeing that their fight with Wike and Tinubu was costing them money, Arise News/ThisDay awarded Wike minister of the year and Tinubu man of the year. If you followed their activities, you'd know that those awards were for their business interests.

On the matter at hand, Otitoju had said before the president's broadcast that state of emergency and removing a governor were antiquated and no president would do it. About an hour before Journalists' Hangout aired the following day after Tinubu's actions, Rufai Oseni released a sick tweet saying he dared Otitoju to recant. Otitoju stood by what he said.

The following day, Ojy Okpe, who does not behave intelligently sometimes, brought a story to promote hatred against Otitoju. Rufai latched on it and lied that Otitoju folded. I was shocked because I listened to Otitoju before and after, he never folded.

Rufai Oseni was biased and lied to drive hatred against Otitoju. Even when Abati intervened to stop Rufai and Ojy, they unintelligently continued with the lie.

Even though you hate someone, your integrity should never be assaulted to the point that you sacrifice objectivity.

Rufai and Ojy lied. That they are your favs does not mean they must not be told the truth.

On the issue between Rufai Oseni and Otitoju on State of Emergency, I haven't listened to any of the sides, neither have I watched the video, so I don't have much to say about that. But as for you,the poster, you are the worst example of the product you want to advertise. I thought you were coming in with a balanced view, only for you to be jaundiced in your conclusion.
Aside this matter of their views on State of Emergency in Rivers State, have you taken time to actually listen to Otitoju in some other areas, especially as it concerns politics and tribalism?
If you have, you will understand that he isn't what you have called him to be.
I wouldn't like to go deeper than this, when there are contentious issues in the future and he's allowed to comment, watch him, listen to him,then come back and let me know your findings.
I took him for a serious and an unbiased journalist before, but as I make this post,I have my reservations about him and I will like someone else to prove me wrong. God bless you.

In truth Babajidi is a journalist i have my utmost respect for but it's difficult for good men to dine with the devil and still come out the same.
He works with TVC and is owned by Tinubu,so the adage 'he who pays the piper dictates the tune'.
APC and its leadership are like a valley of mud,anything that falls inside it,will either stink,sink or smells.
So Babajide finds himself between the devil and the deep blue sea,as much as he tries to balance his views on national issues,but he has tilted towards our corrupt leaders and sounds a bit bias atimes.
It is not too late for him to redeem himself,he can not labour all these years,only for him to allow the pecks of today to rob him of his good name.We love him but he should make haste while the sun shines.
He shouldn't take up any fight with Rufai,that lad is an idol to millions of youths whom are in search of a new Nigeria,he stands high above his peers,he is so much loved.
Fighting him will mean fighting millions of youths and for sure,it won't look good for your reputation...we love your analytical and investigative skills but pls resist temptation from our corrupt leaders and they will flee.

To me,if there was any journalists on our media space that I can vouch for any day it's BKO;forget about this idea or notion being bandied about that he works for Tinubu(if that's actually true that Tinubu owns TVC) ,yes he works for him ,but I have not seen anyone who is more truthful and factual as BKO quote me anywhere.

The reason why I will keep vouching for BKO because he has been there and done that,he doesn't need prove who he is or what he can do; that run-off-the-mill journalist who this confused generation want to think is the best thing after Stephen Sackur or Mehdi Hassan is just a noise maker who only impresses unexposed gullible louts .
