Most businesses are going through multiple taxation in Nigeria especially FCT. Environmental, fumigation, certification of fitness of your premises, tenement rate, sign board, television tax all under the council areas. Then you pay to FCT HHSS, pay annual license of your private facility to your regulatory council, pay your personal license, pay for your professional development etc. The worse is the local government people that extort money without carrying out the fumigation, or the certificate of fitness without doing anything or environmental that extort money without carrying out the waste. There has to be a way to regulate these multiple taxation in order to encourage small scale businesses.

No be lie... Our nursery / primary school is going thru alot. Most time we felt like quitting.
Cos comparing d school fees n all these annual levies with no incentive from the govt, is tough especially this period.

We Nigerians are the problem of ourselves. If Obasanjo had invested the money in Nigeria, the same Nigerians will beat all security strategies and steal almost every thing from diesel to engine oil and even machine parts until they finish the place completely. With what I have seen in my work place, I would not like to invest in Nigeria.

Nigeria had no case there. Legally ceded to Cameroon during the civil war by Nigerian govt.

Remember, France was still imperialising Cameroon then and they saw it useful in their favour that Nigeria already had enough oil and are even wasteful.
