Dear young Nigerian ladies, borrow yourselves brain, learn from the experiences of your aunties in their mid and late 30s and 40s.
in the abroad sef, men wey no get legit stay dun dey form now, boys no wan marry Mrs. husband again. It is military out there.
Even for women with papers, the only option is to go look for one boy wey dey struggle back home and use "i will file for you" to propose to the boy.
if u no get money to freeze ur egg, u no get alternative passport to attract young men...start taking care of your hygiene o and limit shakara for boys

She came to look for husband or baby girl lifestyle all this one na wash. Alot of 9ja babes abroad believe they should not be working and just be enjoying life.

A mother of two who moved from Canada to Nigeria recently and did a relocation video too. I saw her post on instablog last week. Just give this one time she go run back.
They won’t come back to tell their stories later.
Most people that left before their retirement later regrets. All they believed was, with about some 3 figures of million they will be fine. Ask them in 2 year how they are doing in 2 years.

There is a kind of freedom you have when you return to Nigeria from the western world. Forget about almighty dollars and pounds Sterling or Euros. Yes, Nigeria has lots of issues and bad leaders. However, things are also happening here. If you have the right information on your finger tips, you can make a lot of money in Nigeria. Nigeria is changing rapidly when it comes to the way houses are built these days. All kinds of beautiful houses springing up everywhere. New Supermarket chains are springing up. If you can make snacks, people will patronize you. The market is there for any business idea you have. Naira is bad, but na Nigeria you go spend am .

If you are not lazy, you can do some farming of vegetables and fruits and locate your customers. Oranges, bananas , pine apple, grapes are getting expensive . You can come from abroad, buy land and cultivate these fruits. No slacking. This lady knows what she wants to achieve. Make una leave her o. Internet is there for research and getting things across borders. I rest my case.
Well. said.

And when she arrives, open her eyes and brain wide, begin to make use of the opportunity, in no time,. she will eventually be better than those at home who knows nothing other than the negatives they assume defines the country. Next you see them giving reasons for why she succeeded and they could not.

Lol... What they never tell you is that they are relocating back to Nigeria with a Blue passport which they can always use to fly back or to any other nation at the slightest chance or need.

I know at least 6 of such people talking about relocating back to Nigeria...!

It is not difficult to understand why they would want to do that... I mean, who wouldn't?!!

With what they have saved up, they can actually live comfortably anywhere in Nigeria without stress.

Most of the Nigerians they left behind to move abroad years ago can't afford to live such lives in the same country.

It's okay to come back to Naija for the sake of familiarity and native comforts, but can we stop pretending that this nation became better after you left?!! Or that you are not returning far better than when you left.

Truth is, over there, there's no competition for Dorime and show off. But here, you will see people that will envy your little success and makes you feel like you've achieved something.

I felt the same way when I was in the UK too. You can't buga anybody there. If you like drive Lamborghini...nobody trip extremely for you.

Well, isn't it just better to do your thing without making noise online?!!

For decades, Nigerians have been relocating abroad and others abroad have been returning to enjoy Nigeria after getting higher financially abroad.

Many of them never made a fuss or noise.

This generation talks and blabs unnecessarily.

She wants to start clothing line in a country where people cannot afford food to eat.
The people that patronise beer parlour joints and drink spots that are about the most spreading business in Nigeria are doing so after they have eating.

Well, the truth is... Abroad life can never be fulfilling and fun-filled for any person born and raised in very social and family-connected environment like Naija, especially Lagos, Ph, and others.

Once anyone hits the goal of second citizenship and some level of good financial saving which will be a goldmine once converted to Naira, then relocating back to Naija begins to make serious sense.

Abroad life is not for those who can't stay without serious socialising and connecting on a weekly basis.

Even me that thrive almost like a hermit still find the level of social isolation in nations like Canada quite extreme and seriously unhealthy.

Let's just be real...!

Davido was correct... If you no get money or connection for Naija, just hide your face.

The few wealthy in Naija are not anywhere as hardworking and success-seeking as the millions that are poor and wretched.

Let's quit gaslighting abeg.... This is not patriotism when you fail to speak the truth.

Nigeria is not doing well economically and has one of the worst leaderships on Earth from LGA and state to Federal!

There is no sugarcoating this.

It is unacceptable and beyond abhorrent that minimum wage can't sustain a single individual not to speak of family monthly.

These abroad people can afford to be 'patriotic' and brag about opportunities simply because they are PRIVILEGED!

Argue or insult, but this is just the truth!

I am not gaslighting, sugarcoating or supporting the leadership.
My point is clear and simple. In the midst of the darkness, downturn and everything else anyone may say, there are still opportunties that abound. I doubt if anyone will argue about that. Neither am I saying that the minimum wage can take any worker home .
I stand in support of the comment I responded to and will recommend you read it again.

Okay... I don't disagree totally with you about opportunities in Nigeria.

But, where are there no opportunities?!! Even in Syria and Ukraine, there are still wealth making opportunities.

But, it will take serious wealth and influence to harness or even access them fully.

Well, we are all correct anyway.

Happy weekend!

because its a thing and a legit reason some of them move back to Nigeria. A childhood friend of mine from my time in uk went to Nigeria 2 years ago. She said she felt alive from the attention and persistence from 9ja men. 🥱
Reminds me of the Nigerian-American influencer on IG who had to move to Texas from New York after realising only three of her friends within her age group (30) are married.

Only for she to go to Texas and start complaining about the laws and Nigerian men there.

It is not about the leadership, my brother. Just forget our leaders and focus on succeeding in Nigeria. The internet is a good resource to get information and products or things you need to make money in Nigeria. You can be in Nigeria and be learning how to make snacks or grow seedlings from someone in India or Holland. Knowledge reigns supreme on the internet. Nigeria is not an easy environment but good people are around us in Nigeria too. You can't beat that feeling of attending church or social events in Nigeria.

That's something many don't want to agree on - our leadership is nothing to write home about. There's nothing wrong with returning to one's country after working abroad for a while, but where the leaders make things worse or are nonchalant towards pressing issues, it becomes a problem.

Our political elites no try at all!
