This is another good example of you exposing your ignorance about topics you are unfamiliar with.

Read up and get educated before making comments.

Proforce Defence, EPAIL, Terrahapix and BriechUAS all make drones.

Amebo and Gulma are not the only drones that have been built in Nigeria.
What ever experience they have, is not upto the experience SA has in that area.

Anyway, thanks for thr information.

South Africa has more defence experience than we have. They also have better drone manufacturing capability than we do.

The Breich you posted, will be our first attempt, apart from the Gulma and the Amebo prototypes we made, to go into the market.
You forgot to mention the Tsaigumi UAV which is a follow on development of the Amebo and Gulma UAV. In fact the Nigerian airforce ordered 6 units of the Tsaigumi UAV some time around November 2023

That’s common knowledge.

We were comparing facility size though, so I don’t know what your comment here is supposed to be??

You're a frustrating clown.

You made an uneducated comment, which was corrected, now you're shifting goal post.

Nobody is talking about industry experience.

Yeah Nigeria drone factories are bigger and could produced more drones. İ mean this all so makes a lot of sense. They need more drones.

All so milkor is not a major drone supplier. They really new at it. Denel and CSIR have been the main supplier to the SANDF.

The milkor 380 is really new.

The Indiza uav is the main drone the SA army needs to. Done thing like the milkor 380 would be a major purches and take done time since again it a new product. The İndiza is small and can be purchesed under a easier to mange procurment channel than the milkor 380. The more some thing costs the harder it is to get the money. İn fact if my unit needed a drone and there was one for 5000 rand i personaly could run the paper work and sighn for it. A milkor 380 will need people with heavy shoulders or wearing suits to work to sighn for it.

Not everything Trump does is bad or stupid. These are reciprocal tariffs in response to actions by other countries, some of which are downright silly.

For example, Nigeria. If you try to ship a vehicle from the US to Nigeria, you end up paying tariffs almost the worth of the vehicle before it is cleared from the ports. These costs are passed on to whoever is paying for the vehicle. Some countries have just made it a thing to place ridiculous taxes on Western goods just for the purpose of making money for corrupt government officials.

Considering that US trade with Nigeria, besides oil products, is mostly vehicles, it is not out of place for US to pressure Nigeria to reduce those useless taxes and duties. It would lead to instant benefits for the two countries. Prices of cars in Nigeria will drop, potentially up to 50%, and US vehicle exporters will sell more cars to Nigeria. Majority of Nigerians would like to buy their cars 30-50% cheaper.

The tariffs may not work, but there's a genuine purpose behind them.
Such things are communicated and signed in a trade deal.

Nigerian drone factories are bigger really, the S.A defence industry though in a state of quagmire but still as a structure can't be compared to ours especially aerospace and land capabilities.
Should an urgent need arise, they would be able to respond in like a year or two whilst we cry for arms sale again.
We have been making progress with this drone thing but we are still yet very slow

Stop attacking the South Africans. If they have only 6 military planes in operation, then maybe its because they are in a peaceful neighbourhood. I will trade Nigeria's turbulent neighbourhood for their peaceful one anytime anyday.

It is better to have a small military and a peaceful surrounding, than have a large military with a turbulent area.
Who be this one

With Nigeria's many military hardwares, which I am not impressed with, by the way, we still haven't been able to put a stop to violence in within our country.

Trumpturds in 2024 : Trump will fix the economy, the stock exchange will grow, and food prices will be low on his first day in office.

*** Trump crashes the economy in his first 100 days in office, shrinks 401k savings, food prices rise, and inflation is expected to grow by double digits in the first year.

Trumpturds now: You guys don't understand the master plan.

Ok, you never knew during Jonathan's presidency they were the only ones willing to sell weapons to us.

You also do not know their defence contractors helped us to secure the north east so we could have elections in those places. The Nigerian military did not do that before the six weeks Jonathan postponed the election for.

Kenyan rugby is on the up, no doubt about it. This 7s team is on track to match and possibly eclipse the great 2016 squad.
