‘It’s a Well-organised Criminality’ - Gov Reacts To Attacks In Plateau | #Politicsnigeria

The governor of Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang has described the incessant attacks on the state as a well-organised criminality.

Mutfwang said contrary to beliefs, the attacks and killings in the state are not just mere farmer-herders clash.

He also alleged that the attacks are sponsored by conflict merchants who hope to gain either financially or otherwise from the incidents.

The governor said this at the Fashion and Arts Exhibition organised by the Tincity Fashion Week in Abuja.

“And I must say that the aim of the enemy is to throw the state into gloom and mourning but we will rise above their intent and not give them what they want.

“For those who think that the current situation is a farmer-herder issue, let me disabuse your mind from that perception; it is a product of organised crime by malicious elements who do not want peace to reign in the state.

“I want to assure the good people of Plateau that God will give us victory over these miscreants and their end has come” Mutfwang said.

Commending the organisers of the event for their support for the state, the governor said his administration is committed to making Plateau a safe haven for all.

“I want to thank all of you who are here to support and honour Plateau with your presence in this event. We do not take this show of solidarity lightly.

“We contemplated suspending this event due to the current security situation in the state, but we decided not to allow the situation to ruin the good things we have to celebrate,” he said.

When the government is ready to take the bull by the horn... the know what to do.... it wont come so friendly, but a lot of people will really support their actions because it will shake the foundations and their sponsors and their excesses will be curtailed.. Totally ban open grazing... Totally ban movement of cows from one location to another.... create a strong community police with local vigilantes, equip them from one LG to another, position them in a very strategic areas with robust communication gadgets, join forces with the federal police and armed forces... Any one seeing with a cow in the bush should be dealt with and the cows be shot at... Dont give them second chance by arresting their cows. let the cows be a manure for the farms... do that with strong force, and put pressures on them... see how all these killings will be reduced...Review the situation every year and go tougher if there are loopholes.... What is wrong with this country?

If that can't be achieved, create state own vigilantes/security to do the needful. An eye for an eye always.

..the governor..well you will not be able to solve this "organised criminality" when you wrongly assume it to be so or just playing to the gallery...
