You guys don't seem to get it. The owner of Nairaland don't want you to deactivate as it will affect the site stats. Currently we have over 3.2million registered members on this platform, I can assure you that over 60% of that figure are not active on Nairaland right now .

If they allow you to deactivate your account at will, you might visit Nairaland one day and total membership would have dropped from 3million to about 1 million or even lesser.
That doesn't speak well business wise as advertisers look at those numbers.
