The governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has been nominated as the flagbearer of his party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the November 8, 2025 governorship election in the state.

The incumbent, who was returned unopposed, polled over 300 votes during the primary which held in Awka on Saturday.

Soludo is arrow head of politics in Anambra. He controls the entire structure. Nothing for LP or PDP or APC in that state.

This is another failure of the Agulu fraud. He doesn't even have any political structure in Anambra and he wants to become the president of Nigeria. Lmaooo

All these political gladiators have robust political structure and control in their home states. The fraud did two terms as governor of Anambra and a suppose "national figure" can't even influence the upcoming governorship election in favour of his party. Lmaooo. Anyone he backs will be beaten black and blue just like in 2021 when he supported Valentine Ozigbo (PDP), who lost to Soludo (112,070 votes to 53,807); Soludo na new player at state level then oooo. Soludo still beat am with crazy margin just to tell you how unserious Papa Gaybu is.

This guy doesn't have any army of loyal local politicians, traditional rulers, or grassroots leaders in his own state. His unseriousness with the LP at the state level is embarrassing - his failure to resolve the national party crises involving Abure also weakened the party’s structure in Anambra. Kenneth Okonkwo was right - Obi is a weak leader. In Anambra today, if we talk of political clout, influence and control, Obi is a boy to Soludo.
