To me, there's a simple solution to this killings that the elders and leaders in those states are not exploring. The concept of north vs south is one that gives hausafulani Muslim- led north political advantage in the Nigerian equation. But these majorly Christian states of Plateau, Benue, Nasarawa, Taraba form part of the numbers that makes the north to have numerical advantage Since the north and south are not mentioned in the constitution, why don't these states declare for the south. If you understand the Muslim north very well, that's their biggest fear, that is, holding the short end of the stick in the Nigerian equation. There's precedence for this. Both Kogi and Kwara were southern tending states before colonial intervention. The Igalas had very close affinity with the Igbo and Benin while Kwara is mainly Yoruba. In fact, if you look at Nigeria's geography, 3 states actually lie south from a geographical sense and they are counted as northern states. Those are Kwara, Kogi and Benue. They lie below the equatorial line if you use Rivers Niger and Benue as the bocundary. In essence, nothing stops these states from declaring for the south. The threat of this alone will make these killings stop as the Fulani led Muslim north will do anything they can to prevent holding the shorter end of the stick as far as Nigeria is concerned. Let their govs apply to join southern govs forum Let their senators apply to caucus with the southern senate Same with their House of Reps You'll see that these killings will stop in a very short while These people hold the key to their freedom. The question is if their leaders are patriotic enough to use it. |

The Plateau State Government has condemned the attacks and called for calm as a coordinated security response is currently ongoing in the affected areas. Yes it's good to condemn the attack but I hate hearing calling for calmness. People will be insulting Israel for attacks, Israel knows what they are doing they don't wait to condemn, these people should be followed right into the bushes they hide with their families both women and children young and old should be eliminated because they are not useful to the society, anything that is not useful to the society and to mankind should be cut off. They thought they are the only one that has the monopoly to kill, I swear make e scatter. Comment like yours are the reason there is great division among Christians and southern Nigeria and The northerners are taking advantage of other tribes. When are Christian going to speak in ONE VOICE like the Muslim?
