The “tariff benefits” are a complete DELUSION.

There are ZERO benefits.

He says he wants to bring back all the factory jobs back to America by imposing tariffs, forgetting why US companies fled America in the first place - the high cost of labour. High salaries compared to taking their factories to China etc.

So when you manage to bring them back and functional in 5 to 10 years’ time (since factories don’t spring up overnight), what will be the cost of labour and wages?

How can Nigerians buy from America when 100k is around 63 dollars? Instead it will be better to buy from Brazil or Vietnam or China. If USA want countries to start producing there they will have to devalue their currency which is what everyone else has done. They don't want to play by the rules but instead want to threaten and bully people
