ubest1:Nissan is generally a problematic car,now you are even buying a Nigerian used one. It will drain your finances and frustrate you. Just be patient, add to the money you have and go for any Toyota brands. |

ubest1:Best oil to use for a 2008 car in Nigeria is Mobil XHP 20w 50 I owned a 2008 Teana which I bought in 2009 ,used it for a decade and not once did it break down , the only thing it has is poor suspension as it rattles a lot after just a while on our bad roads , then the body wears down very fast so it will look older than it's ages....Till date I have never seen one broken down on the road |

Am also considering the maintenance bro, the Nissan TEANA is 2.0L, low fuel consumption and the general part maintenance is even lesser than Camry pencil light but the luxury is in topnotch compare to highly rated German vehicles pneumaticos: |

ubest1:Indeed except for part availability A 2.0 Audi beats that any day any time in terms of comfortability But mecho issues always spoils the show |

Celestialsword:How is Nissan a problematic car? What Nissan car specifically is problematic. Because you lack good maintenance culture the car is now problematic. Some cars will not tolerate any form of abuse.... My very first car tear rubber was a 2005 Nissan ser special edition. The only made 2005 and 2006. This is the SER o. Only issue I know of is after around 100k miles the fuel pump starts having issues . The fuel gauge will not read accurately. And you can't tell if the fuel is accurately full or empty. The same issue am having currently with my Infiniti. The Infiniti is Part of the Nissan family... I also recall when the Infiniti Fx35 or the Fx model became popular in Nigeria. Those Fx didn't last two years before Nigerians starting calling it a bad car and discouraging people from buying it.. And meanwhile those FX were rugged and will not tolerate abuse for too long , especially transmission. You people just want cars that you can pour any transmission fluid or oil . SMH |

dru23:Since Nigerians lacks maintenance culture, Nissan is usually a problematic car here, especially that Fx and infinity, they are few on our roads. Mechanic usually disuade people from buying them. |

Celestialsword:Back than the FX was a dream car the interior was so nice and the car can move ..... When visiting Nigeria back than I saw a lot of it on the road. Than all of sudden I saw them park and abandoned with dust. I was so shocked and embarrassed..... And after few rearch I came to find out the transmission will not tolerate abuse. You have to use the specific transmission fluid or else you go hear am. I tired for naija, they turn a beautiful car to an eyesore parked on the road with trash on top am. Na wetin I see I dey tell you... Very embarrassing to say the least |
