Oga if you can't do the job, leave and allow someone else handle it.

These security agencies are one of the problems we have in Nigeria. You are suffering the hardship but want to suppress the people who wants to protest for you to live a good life. In saner clime police do offer protection for protesters.

The ones issuing the statements are not experiencing what the lower ranked ones are experiencing hence why they are against the protest and also, it is to please their pay master before they lose their job

The right to peaceful protest is a constitutional right but with a caveat.

This planned protest, apart from being ill-timed, considering the fact that it coincides with the National Police Day, smacks of a sinister motive.

Experience has shown that these protests often end up being hijacked by hoodlums resulting to widespread looting, destruction of property and even loss of lives.

Nigeria is literally in the frying pan and it would become double jeopardy if it falls into the fire.
