Dear Atiku,

The time has come for you to influence the happenings within the PDP.

Your detachment from PDP crisis and doing a one-man opposition without allowing the party shine shows that you do not fully have confidence in the party.

I support Tinubu, but the vibrancy of democracy is a purposeful opposition. Unfortunately, the opposition seems to have taken a backseat since 2015. APC was the last party that gave quality opposition. Even within states, the PDP is not playing the role of oppositon. We do not even know the publicity secretary of PDP in Lagos State.

It should not always be about grabbing power, but about building a party that should be strong, competitive and aligned with strong opposition.

Your spokesmen I had advised you to avoid were mostly quiet during campaigns, loud during election petitions and now quiet again. Where is Phrank Shaibu, Timi Frank, Don Pedro Obaseki, Daniel Bwala, Nduka, etc? It should not only be about those who work for you, but those who truly believe in you.

I stronhly hope you consider my words and provide strong and purposeful opposition through the party channels. Remember Lai Mohammed of APC early days? We need another Lai in PDP to put APC on their toes.

If not, expect an easy ride over the opposition.

The party belongs to Wike. Wike kept the party afloat during his days as Rivers Governor and made sure all his loyalist were strategically positioned in the party hierarchy while the other PDP governors were aloof and Atiku was resting in Dubai.
As it stands, PDP as an opposition is not viable in 2027 because Wike's men are on ground to make sure the party stands no chance against Tinubu.

More reason Tinubu grants his request because Wike has PDP on lockdown and makes his reelection in 2027 smooth.

It bothers me, because they actually have no moral grounds to challenge Wike considering what they did to PDP in 2015 is exactly what Wike is doing now, except that Wike has remained in the party. Wike was also said to have sponsored some of the governors in PDP and now they owe him. When Yakubu Dogara publicly said Wike sponsored Bauchi governor's election, the man who was hypercritical of Tinubu just kept mute since.

What Atiku could have done was to take his followers from PDP and form his own party. Buhari did the same to ANPP when he formed CPC. Like you said, PDP has been hijacked.

With Wike in the mix, Atiku can't have a free way to get the ticket. Those who'd select delegates in PDP are one way or the other tied to Wike.

Atiku's greatest problem is not Tinubu. Atiku's greatest problem is Wike and he does not seem to have the intelligence to cripple Wike or work with him. His recent outburst in his interview with Adesuwa Giwa-Osagie only revealed his lack of political diplomacy for political engagement.

Wike may have his faults, but a sensible polititician would recognize that he is a political asset. Peter Obi recognized this. Tinubu recognized this. But Atiku refused to. If he had gotten Wike's support in 2023, he might have been president today.

Why didn't the husband accompanying his wife also for the condolence? Husband dey for one small farm hut for katsina say him dey rest, while wife dey Dubai dey think her life!

I believe Peter obituary is not aware of this death news, he would have been the first to pay his condolence visit...
