Lol. Is there no freedom of movement already? You can't move freely between countries and take up jobs at will. Except, of course, the UK has been annexed to become part of the USA. Then people can move freely to take jobs. 🤷♂️ |

Honestly, I don’t understand all the fuss. If one country decides to impose a 100% tariff on goods coming into its territory, and the other country responds by raising its own tariffs, isn’t that just how international trade works? Both sides are simply protecting their interests..... No more father Christmas... If u want US to reduce, make u sef reduce |

Globalization was often an agenda to the West to ever be at the top, economic and social-wise, while using the rest of the world as their economic slaves and continuously subjugating them through various supposed globalization agendas (UN, WEF, lgbt them even, dollar reserves, etc.) Yes, indeed, the Western globalization need be over. The world decentralized. A Nigerian should know more about Cameroon and Mauritius, rather than news news everyday about your shitty hole piggy countries. Thanks to Trump for ushering in the beginning of the destruction of Western hegemony on the other 6billion+ rest of the world of only 8billion. |

Trump is a nice dog that doesn't deserve to be on a loose. To get the best of him, he must be on a leash, guided and conditioned with dog tricks; other than that, he becomes another world figure in Hitler dimension. Go and study Germany in the time of Hitler; his book Mein Kampf, a nazi bible, was an inspiration of the German fascist. An obsessive book to protect them from Jews; the same way Trump is going against globalization with fascist mentality to protect the American economy from the rest of the world |

I'm pro-Trump but I think he's causing too many divisions around the world. He's (subconsciously) bringing out the beasts in Europe, Africa and Asia especially.. America can't be the greatest forever (they should ask Egypt, Rome, Greece, Spain, etc and the most recent in history;UK), these acts may be used against them in the future.. Although, this is a natural flaw in every human's ideology; humans always think they will remain on top forever, or they will continue winning forever while looking down on others but when the improbable table turns, you see them running back to them (underated) begging in humility you never thought they have... |

Tinubu must put Nigeria first, go into agreements with nations, so we pay them with naira and in exchange they pay us in their local currency for goods and services exchanged. South Africa has done this, and their economy is balancing out, their rand is going stronger and attracting investors, investors prefer to invest in a nation with a strong currency value. We need to stop spending money buying dollars to import! Dollarisation of our economy and society is killing naira. Use only naira, grow naira, our economy become valuable. Globalisation has ended, every president and senate/parliament is doing what is good for its citizens, Nigeria should not be an exception, work based on interest and profit for Nigeria for the good of Nigerians. It's a shame that we don't have the executive with the heart to do this, this is the one singular act that will change Nigeria economy for good. N1500 to a naira is a disgrace and this administration must bring it down, this is the crux of our problem in Nigeria as per economics and standard of living of the masses. |

Keir Starmeris kissing Trump's backside. The Labor party actually supports globalIzation. They wanted to remain during the EU exit polls. Starmer rues the pain Brexit has brought upon the UK. |

.after the second world war. The US ordered all colonial countries to give up theirs colonies for a new era. Which the UK and France control more countries they once had and the countries controlled by German was already divided by UK and France. And they went to take up the countries Japan was controlling and the US doesn't want that. So they came up with a new plan for their own interests. The United nations and a new neo colonial era. Dollar as world currency and reserved. Advantage to the US. They claimed to have the Gold reserved to backed it at the time which was true to some extent but not anymore. The US doesn't have the Gold anymore to back up the dollar. All they do is print more paper and do charity it was the main reasons the dollar keep devaluing as they spend more that their worth and reserves. The world back their economy with the dollar by using their economy and resources. But the US just print paper and taking up countries resources with politics and military forces in other to remain stronger. While the UK and France share Africa resources and economy in other to remain at the top. What is left for Africa and it future? It is the reason Africa remain poor because they are so foolish and their leaders greedy. They lack the education and rational mind, and useless in world politics. The ones that have the mind to challenge the neocolonialism faced with sanctioned. |

Trump America first slogan turning into America last ...Americans is protesting ,stocks are losing value even musk is not exempted he lost 11billion dollars, I knew that Trump coming back will not be good for his country and the whole world, he's irrational and takes tough decisions without proper planning...the bottom line is goods and services are going up in USA affecting the citizens and residents...just like it happened here when bulabu removed fuel subsidy,,people hate to suffer and anyone who brings suffering to a man is his enemy no matter the intent and purposes.... |

OneOnland:This is a slow emotional take. Before the world decentralizes, there needs to be viable alternatives, cause how do you balance import-export deficits? If Nigeria and Ghana start buying and selling to each other in cedis and naira respectively, when Nigeria archives trade surplus, what would they do with the excess cedis since they can't spend it in Nigeria? Before the dollar can get out of the way, a viable alternative has to come in. Currently, lots of countries have signed deals to keep selling their oil in dollars, how do you break free from that hegemony? Even China and Russia haven't dumped the dollar 100% for this sole reason |

With all the inciteful, hate-filled, and divisive articles Reno Omokri churn on daily basis, President Tinubu wants to reward him with an ambassadorial appointment? Somebody should tell me it's a joke. Is the president implying that Reno has done well by those articles he churns out denigrating mostly the southeast and its people? Is president Tinubu not supposed to be at the forefront of chastising anyone who threatens to the unity of the country by his/her actions and inactions? It's a big MISS for president Tinubu to want to reward Reno Omokri! |

Maybe I'm not economically knowledgeable enough. I dont understand why everyone is angry n crying over US tarrifs. US has a population of 340M The world has a population of 8.6B. So if a country with only 340M is giving the whole world headache, why cant the whole world boycott, abandon and ignore that country? Why is trade with America so important? Why cant all other countries come together and trade with each other? Ofcos there will be some sell outs that want to side with US. But this crap US is doing needs a new handstands approach. No whining or crying or even negotiating. WHY CANT AMERICA BE BOYCOTTED? |
