The value of a country’s currency is a key indicator of its economic stability, inflation control, and fiscal management. While the Nigerian Naira has faced significant depreciation in recent years due to inflation, foreign exchange shortages, and economic instability, several African countries have managed to maintain stronger currencies. These nations benefit from factors such as robust exports, sound monetary policies, and diversified economies that help sustain the value of their money.Source: https://businessday.ng/bd-weekender/article/20-african-countries-with-stronger-currencies-than-the-naira/

Great100000:You don't really understand how the fiat system works . You look at the numerical realities but not the economic realities. Going by your example, then the yen is weaker than the cedi but the reality is that the Japanese economy is so strong that they battle deflation.. The governor of the Zimbabwe Central Bank would give balls just to get the zig on a par with the naira.. The naira is weaker than it should be because Nigerians are economic illiterates, corrupt, selfish, weak and without control. |

I've just seen the article at the original website. I feel really sorry for Nigerian education. What happened. People with university degrees cannot even grasp simple things. It is beginning to look like Nigerian education has collapsed. |
