You don't really understand how the fiat system works . You look at the numerical realities but not the economic realities. Going by your example, then the yen is weaker than the cedi but the reality is that the Japanese economy is so strong that they battle deflation..
The governor of the Zimbabwe Central Bank would give balls just to get the zig on a par with the naira..
The naira is weaker than it should be because Nigerians are economic illiterates, corrupt, selfish, weak and without control.
All this semi-literates masquerading as economic and financial experts.

Not correct information

For example, Ghana cedi is only valuable on the surface because they have redominated it.

Nigeria is gone to the dogs thanks to Tilumbu
The day I know Nigeria is gone was when I saw a Gambian saying he will buy Abuja if he brings 2000 of their currency to Nigeria
I checked their currency compared to the Naira,I didn’t even know how to start defending

The explanation is simple. Most of these countries either removed 00 or 000 that's why in the surface it will look like the naira is a gab but in reality the naira has a better purchasing power.
Let me give you an example, to the ignorants, the Ghana cedi is better than the Naira but in reality 1k naira will get you a liter of fuel in Nigeria but 1k cedi will get you about 80 litres of same fuel in Ghana. Ghana minimum wage I think was 300-500 cedis.

I've just seen the article at the original website. I feel really sorry for Nigerian education. What happened. People with university degrees cannot even grasp simple things. It is beginning to look like Nigerian education has collapsed.
illiteracy could be part of it but then we have a system that magnify incompetence… tribalism and corruption

Take a look at the president from the last 1half decades!!

Nigeria problem is foundational,it's not about a particular leader,

They contest election without having a clear clue as to how to solve the nations problems, their major aim is to loot.

If those seeking to hold public office, should engage in a debate, you will be surprised that none of them have any iota of ideas on how to move this nation out of the woods.

Unfortunately, those egg head that really have the clue and solutions to the myriad of problems bedevilling Nigeria are either not partaking in politics or are schemed out or frustrated.

Even when they give suggestions to any regime, they never take or impliment any of them, because they view opposition as enemies of their regime.

Not at all.

Education and politics don't go together.

If your Education tells you this is white
But politics tells you that you should call it red to get to power.
You will call it red and escalate it!

They removed 00 or 000 if I could remember.
If the FG decides to remove 00 from the naira, today's 100 naira will become 1 naira. In the surface the naira will automatically becomes bigger than most currencies all over the world. I really don't know why the FG hasn't thought of doing such since 1999

You haven't explained anything. Do you even understand what you wrote up there?
If ₦1,000 gets you 1L of fuel, and 1,000 Cedis get 80L, then it means the Cedis is 80 times better than the Naira. Their minimum wage is 300-500 Cedis, and yours is ₦70,000, and yet you claim our purchasing power is higher. How?

Ghana Government removed 00 from their currency and that's why the cedis that was supposed to be 100 became 1. So what 100 cedis would buy is what they are using 1 cedi to buy now. The 1k naira that even a mad man in Nigeria do have, do you know what it takes to make that same 1k cedis in Ghana?
You guys will just sit in your 1 rooms and be talking trash online. I stayed in Ghana for years and in all ramifications, including currency wise, the naira is more valuable

If Sierra Leonean Leone is stronger than Nigeria Naira, that means Nigeria has finished, because as of of 2022 when I was in SL, 100K Naira i was almost equivalent to 1m Leone
