The indigenous inhabitants of Abuja are the Abawa (Ganagana), Basa, Gwandara, Gbagyi (Gwari) having the majority population in the region. Other groups in the area include the Gade, Dibo, Egburra, Nupe and Koro. The Gwandara speaking people in Abuja are mostly found in AMAC and Bwari Area Council.

Gbagis are the real owners of Abj, they are not Hausa/Fulani. North has over 100 tribe; if you meet someone from Southern Kaduna and call him/her Hausa/Fulani he/she will be offended.

First, the indigenous people of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) of Nigeria, are primarily from nine ethnic groups (in no particular order): Gbagyi, Amwamwa, Bassa, Egbira, Gade, Ganagana, , Gbari, Gwandara, and Koro. These are neither Hausas nor Fulanis.

Second, Abuja like Lagos is built with money from the national treasury. If anything, it was the beauty of Abuja that drove the Niger Delta (ND) youths who attended 1 million-man march for Gen Abacha into armed struggle militancy as a way of protesting the use of ND oil money to develop Abuja while ND remain undeveloped. So,the resources that were used to develop Abuja didn't come from Hausa or Fulani.

Third, though a thorough-bred Hausaman from Katsina State, Sarki is a known Hausas/Fulani bigot on Twitter who accuses other bigots of being bigger bigots to cover his own bigotry. He writes well, no doubt, but he is a fat head.

Fourth, Abuja as FCT belongs to every Nigerian with green passport. Sarki should go and hug transformer.
