I love Amala and Ewedu die. I am not in surprise if anyone says it is overhyped, that is life. One man's meat is another's poison. In fact, I dey beg God make im make Amala and Ewedu part of food wey we go chop inside Paradise. I love it like wetin dey

I support you in this train of thought. I was scarred by the colour of Amala as a kid and ran from it like it's some plague. I still wonder less what people see on Amala and gbegiri. The gbegiri soup even looks like Se sacrifice to some lowbudget gods. Funnily, the way Ibadan people take this Amala as demigod is mortifying.

People living in different localities have foods they enjoy that's unique to them. You from a different place may not enjoy the food. Those that eat the food enjoy it and hype it.

The party jollof you talked about may not be enjoyable to some people while to you, it is.
