Otti was not completely the issue. Uzoma Dozie had some time to still save the bank.

But they only continued to over expose themselves to unsecured loans. Especially SMEs.

Standard Trust Bank introduced withdrawal from other branches nationwide.

Otti was not the issue.

It was Uzoma Dozie, that did know how to handle the staff of power in his hands. He was not sharp and destroyed all his father's influences.

I worked with diamond bank for about 4 years.

Alex Otti ruined the bank.

Diamond Bank pioneered the Integrated Banking System which allowed account holders account access from any branch, anywhere in the country. Prior to that, you could only withdraw money from your own branch.

I have lived in both eras. Thank God for his life.
