From what I just read about this on Apple website, the answer is Yes.

And it seems to be the only AirPods model (both lightning and usb-c) you can enable the feature for currently.

But I am using it with an S22 Ultra, I can't confirm this for you. I would have just done a screenshot instead of this long epistle.

You have to be connected with an Apple device to have Settings.
