It's the weather. You're not directly exposed to the hot sun.

Easy access to protein, and I believe more consumption of liquids - water, tea, coffee, juices.

No habbit of regularly eating our delicious Nigerian dishes, starters and snacks. These dishes are obviously sumptuous but many are prepared in a way that are ultimately not healthy for us.

No monthly malaria or other illnesses like typhoid that ravages the body

Also, it's more likely that someone living abroad will be watching their diet and have a gym or exercise regime.

However, someone in Nigeria who is eating and living well has this glow to their skin that you will find hard to achieve abroad

You see that liquid consumption and gym membership, comot am. Nobody abroad does that. You can go one week and you never drink water in Europe.
Again, na who get time dey go gym.

No be say abroad people get clean skin ohh. The reason is that there is less or no air pollution from vehicle and industry smokes. This make them have cleaner air over there, so that when they take picture, it appears very clean.

1.Don't joke with the power of winter... Here the sun is just to tan the skin... So imagine an overstressed person here still receiving daily tanning from our hot sun

2.Good life and less carbohydrates like most of food. Na only power and strong body we dey gather.

Good food and nothing else.

Food is the cheapest thing anyone can ever worry about in developed countries( I mean high quality protein filled foods).

They drink more water and the cool weather adds to it too. Our sun is harsh on the skin especially in the afternoon.

Well, those people go resemble person wey never commot from Nigeria before, so I believe they will not be looking like abroad people to the OP, and hence was not referring to people like them. The good thing about people like that though is that they will not be targets for kidnapping etc. Dem fit jump molue, no problem. There is abroad people and there is ABROAD PEOPLE

If people took photos of themselves naturally, you would realize all that freshness na bobo...........During the height of winter, tell the average person to take photos of their legs and feet, you go see ashy whiteness everywhere, some dey even get flakes for head.

During hot summers, you go see sweat with rashes and even stinky armpits......The true freshness is FATNESS......Majority of people(80%) gain 20 pounds or more within 2 to 3 years abroad, it don't matter if you work like jackhammer, that weight gain will come, if that is what you call freshness then congratulations

I dont take vitamin D supplements. There's enough sunlight for that

It's mainly due to reduced effect of the sun, however, you will still need to make up for reduced exposure to sunlight by taking vitamin D supplements

You have no idea how polluted Lagos air is.

Just take a 30-minute stroll, even in Lekki, wipe your face with a wet wipe and see how dirty the wipe becomes.

Many Nigerians are dying from the airborne pollution in Lagos.

The place is not smelling like Lagos

My vision is to make Nigeria exactly or more like that place

Camera too plays a role.

All peoples living around and close to the earth's equator will look rough and oily. Even pictures taken around these areas will look different. As you move away from the equatorial belt the atmosphere becomes less strong and the heat decreases.

Most of the peoples of these areas look oily and rough.

Even black South Africans look different from us because they live very far from the equatorial belt.

During winter you look fresher your skin will be glowing even without cream. So weather affects the skin but not change in color.

The weather makes people lighter in skin colour but that does not equate to being fresh.Rather they are generally unhealthy and most die prematurely.

1. You don't have to worry about waking up 4am to start your day and still waste 2 hours in traffic to get to work.
2. You don't have to run after danfo or keke for transportation.
3.You choose your own work hours depending on the type of work you do.
