I mean good cameras can also contribute to the "freshness". It is not rare to see regular people using phones of £700+

I've always thought it had to do with Europe, America, the weather, food, easy life, etc.
But my personal analysis suggests not.

I think it is the genetic skin type of different individuals.
Because if it was so, then we do a deep dive on why players like Kante, who was born and raised in France, doesn't have a fresh skin.
Same for the many French players that have played for many clubs.

Electricity abundance,

same laws and transportation,

clear view on societal rules - you will have a non -moving goal post of goals to achieve, for example : the state or FG or institution, might say, if you earn this or that, then you and only others that earned the same, will be responsible for this trade; it is not like Nigeria where they will say pay this bill, or do this, then not long after that, this and that changes.

Then the quality of life - in health; willing to accomplish politicians; proven science and engineering advice for public (like water, food, engineered products like building materials understanding); professional security system (might be racist or biased, but amongst themselves they are mostly fair professionals); etc


Things that I wish that the igbo nations will adopt and refine for the better.


For those saying weather, they haven't seen people that go to other working African countries and their bodies change in a porsh manner.

Go to Lekki...I remember growing up, lots of kids had fresh skin but they come from very wealthy families in Nigeria. I am sure if you can afford AC in Nigeria, eat good food and use nice cream, you can achieve...that is the norm abroad...you would hardly see fake creams, even poor people must pay for electricity and use AC for cold/heat as needed and you get enough GMO food.

Then when you spend like 20yrs abroad, you get different illness and start using multiple medications LOL . All that glitters is not GOLD.

Dirts and dusty environment like Lagos, Nigerian

The correct answer to that question is "the effect of the weather on the camera"
His skin may even look rougher now but the weather will make it look smooth on camera. It is the same thing that happens with the sky here.. The sky here in the UK appears more blue in camera than it appears naturally. In conclusion the weather, light, humidity affect your digital skin tone and if you doubt it take pictures on the same spot but from different cardinal points and compare them. My skin is even rougher here with whitish scales but it marvels me to see what the camera produces digitally.

most things you pray for in Nigeria are being provided by the government abroad, I mean basic amenities, so there's peace of mind,hence you look fresh.

Electricity all year round, good weather, Salary/Payment as when due.

No Urgent 2k, everyone works for their money.

No park well

Tax Refund (Rebate)

Good environmental and long term sustainability plan.

How about Arabs in Dubai and Saudi whose environment are hotter than Nigeria? They still look lighter and fresher.

The weather is a factor, but the environment we inhabit could be a core factor.The dust and dirt we get exposed to on a daily basis will always have it's effect on our skin.

Even Buhari and Tinubu look wretched when they are abroad. Nigeria is like Lil Hell.
