Most parts of Nigerian cities are horribly disjointed and unplanned. So many roads are untarred. Mud everywhere when rain falls. What I like about Nigeria is innovation is just taking root in the place. There are lots of untapped opportunities in Nigeria. You won't have much competition even if people steal your ideas. They won't know how to make the most of the ideas they steal from you.

Yes. The level of melanin in your skin can fluctuate depending on the amount of direct sunshine (uvrays) you experience. It’s your body’s defense mechanism. If you’re extremely dark skin the color change might not be noticeable but if you’re somewhere between brown and light skin, it can be very noticeable.

Camera filters.

I thought the same about my friend who relocated to the UK two years ago when she kept posting dapper and overtly edited pictures of herself until she visited Nigeria sometime in November last year. Upon seeing her, I just knew there and then that, the more you look, the less you see.

She was the one who was even all over me and being complimentary about the texture of my skin and complexion. You can be here in Nigeria and be very fresh. Just less/no harsh rays exposure (particularly from 11pm-4pm), avoid the heat and humidity with all your might and stay hydrated inclusive of minimal and safe skincare and you will be good.

It is not about your location or where you stay, although it contributes to an extent, especially for those whose business kept them out in the sun.

People say it's the weather/sun yet folks in Barbados, Bahamas and Bermuda look much refined than our people. Singaporean Chinese have a much finer face than Mainland Chinese. The major reasons are wealth accumulation, long time prosperity, developed infrastructure etc.

For one, the way we perform activities in Nigeria tend to be crude and painstaking.

.. When one is living in a tidy and clean environment can make one fresh..not living where there is open dirty gutter in front of the house, bad road and dirts , paper, nylon litter all.over the environment like many places in Nigeria

Wherever there are people, there are problems. Only a child thinks otherwise.

Taxes, especially property taxes after you've "bought" your home.

Work place matters that turn into legal issues.

Domestic issues that become legal issues.

Racial/gender judicial bias is very common in the western legal system. As are crooked and incompetent lawyers.

Health issues, compounded by problems with health insurance provider or the competency and diligence of the healthcare provider. This is why so many people cheered when the health insurance executive in NYC was murdered.

Workplace stress which manifests itself as health issues. See above. There's a reason why most people in north America, Britain and Australia are overweight. Or why narcotics are so popular in those countries. Or why America is stuck in the midst of an opioid crisis.

Inflation.

Bad weather.

Crime.
