HudsonTaylor:They sent one in April last year i think, so people that booked in 2023 and early 2024 confirmed then. I don't know if they sent another one after that. |

sewenbigboi:Yes, most German schools don't charge tuition fees. However, you need to have about 21m for Blocked Account. Also, the wait time is about 2 years right now. And no, unlike the UK where you can do POF "ronse", you need to actually have the money for Germany. |

Hello everyone In my letter of acceptance from the school the semester start date and language of instruction was not included. Is it ok if I should ask the school for a personalised letter with these information included? Because I saw in the visa requirement for student where it was stated (letter of admission stating the start date and language of instruction). Or can I still use the admission letter even without the information on it. Then secondly can a letter from your previous university saying that English was the medium of instruction be used as proof of English language proficiency for the visa requirement. |
| Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by Nobody: 3:17am On Apr 09, 2025 |
Ellenony:The proof of English proficiency is determined by your school in Germany as stated on your admission letter, not your school in Nigeria. Use the option one and contact your school. If they don't issue you, make sure the admission requirements states it's a course in English because the embassy will verify such information. |

sewenbigboi:HND only qualifies you for BSc admission in Germany. You can't study masters with a HND certificate in Germany. |

Jayseecar:When you upload all your docs, you'll submit and you'll see it boldly on the screen on the home page that you're on the waiting list. |

Bopz1805:It's valid for 6 months. If you take an outdated one on your interview, the VO will tag your application incomplete (You have to join the queue again) or you'll get outright rejected. The days of them giving your time to go get your docs is over. |

MolecularSponge:Get a health insurance from any Dr Walter's provider like Provisit or Educare24. Health insurance not travel insurance |

Gingerskinned:Don't stress too much. Your passport number is the most important detail. If it's incorrect, it's as good as not being in the queue at all. |

Good Morning, i got a mail from the embassy yesterday afternoon requesting for an incoming health insurance and proof of registration (to the university). is this indicative of a visa approval ? Because I often read that a request for an incoming health insurance signifies a positive outcome. How true is this please? |

Are you expected to summit travel insurance on the day of your interview…or you wait till you are asked to?? Urgent response pls🙏🏽 |
| Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by Nobody: 11:39am On Apr 09, 2025 |
Seanzyyy13:Congratulations 👏🎉. You'll get your visa 2 to 5 days after you submit those two documents. Get an insurance from Dr Walters and the proof of registration is enrolment letter from your university |
| Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by Nobody: 11:42am On Apr 09, 2025 |
Pesky54:Embassy does not ask for travel insurance anymore. Just get an incoming health insurance and that will be all. You can submit it on the day of your interview, or wait until they ask for it. Approvals have being happening after 7 days of interview, so it's your choice |

Hannania:thank you so much for your reply. The admission requirements stated the fact that it’s English taught. I only wanted to know if In place of IELTS one can go along with an English proficiency letter from their previous university, I used it for application to the school and it was accepted Only want to know if the embassy will accept it too as proof of English proficiency. |

sewenbigboi:This is Germany not the UK. You CAN'T study for a masters degree with HND. |
| Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by Nobody: 11:44am On Apr 09, 2025 |
Ellenony:The embassy does not ask for proof of language most times, unless it's German and they'll mostly interview you in German. You're good to go. |

Hannania:Thank you so much sir🙏🏽 Pls I have a health insurance which I used during my enrollment because my school asked that my insurance letter be transmitted to them electronically by the insurance company, can I still use that same insurance letter as an “incoming health insurance”…or I should apply for incoming health insurance from another company in Germany?? |
| Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by sewenbigboi: 12:19pm On Apr 09, 2025 |
Hannania:But they’ll accept me as a bachelor? And pls is English language test required? Because I was told to go and do it that’s IELTS Which I’m planning this month And also how long will it take to process if I applied for the bachelor with HND |
| Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by sewenbigboi: 12:31pm On Apr 09, 2025 |
LinYinXu:Im not sure yet sir I can only do that if I ask and also if I do mine because I only know if families overseas that assures me about that and I’m yet to apply for a school yet in Germany because of IELTS they wanted |
